Also, as a woman traveling alone, I did not appreciate that the swing bar lock on my door was broken and could have very easily been kicked in with little effort. My room was clean although aesthetically very unappealing. Scuffs on the walls and a bathroom where the light was somehow dim and gray. Just not a pleasant stay and I was very put off that the manager never tried to make their mistake right. I'm the kind of person where an apology goes a long way and I didn't even get that.

Very clean room, comfy beds, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast area needs some remodeling, breakfast needs a little more variety. Otherwise very quiet and peaceful place to have good night rest!

We only stayed one night, but end up at a different hotel because we end up extending our trip. We should have gone back to this hotel. We had a good stay.

The lobby area was well maintained and welcoming. Upon entering the room, there was a musty smell that never went away even with the air on and windows open. The pool room smelled like mildew and the paint from the bottom of the pool was getting stuck to our feet and peeling off as we walked. There was no hot tub as advertised.

Very spacious room with a nice bed. Clean bathroom. Front desk person was very friendly & we chatted a while. Breakfast was nice, but unfortunately the waffle mix was very thin & we couldn’t make a good one. According to other guests who were there, waffle mix was fine & they made a nice fluffy waffles the day before. Oh, well…

Facilities and room were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good.

Location and the staff was wonderful. This is where we always stay when heading home from NC. The toilet was loose and way too low to the floor. I almost fell. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Didn’t feel like it was well cared for. The parking lot was small and had potholes.

Not sure why previous reviews had a 7.4 rating. The hotel has new carpeting and is very clean. Currently finishing remodel. Yes, great stay for this price!

The breakfast was good

Toilets were very low to the floor. We are in our seventies and it made it very difficult to use. Any lower and we would have been in China! ?

Breakfast had the basics. Dining area clean and neat. Renovations going on. Hope the renovations continue and quality work is done.

We arrived early and we were greeted a very nice gentleman. He was able to check and saw that our room was clean and ready for us. We were able to check in and relax before we went to a graduation. In the morning we just grabbed a cup of coffee from the coffee table and left. I had accidentally left my jacket in the closet. We called and spoke with a woman who was able to retrieve it and hold onto it. I had my daughter who was still nearby and she picked it up. I was very happy with the service there.

The beds were not comfortable - hard as a rock. They also said they were updating..which is needed. We still enjoyed our stay.
