Moon Hotel Brooklyn

The building smelled, it was in an inconvenient location so I had to travel far to get where I wanted to be. The air-conditioning was high up so I couldn't reach it and there was no other chair except one chair that wasn't high enough for me to reach the air conditioning. It smelled like cigarettes. The room was very dark even with all the lights on. The walls were so thin, I could hear everyone and everything outside.

A very convienat area to get food like chipotle or a breakfast / lunch sandwich at the deli just feet away. Near a lot of public transportation

The room was smelling bad and the bathroom is really small. The towels were dirty. The staff was alright. The air conditioning was working well. Spending $140 for 1 night at this hotel is simply overrated.

Im very neutral on this review. The neighborhood is not the best. I tried not using too many of their amenities because it just didn't feel clean. The bed was uncomfortable. The walls are so thin, I was woken up by outside noise from inconsiderate people (loud talking, banging doors). The room window curtains were so short that the sunlight seeped in which ultimately disturbed my sleep. I wouldn't stay there again.

the hotel is close to everything - it is in the hood but everyone was friendly- the lyfts come quick in that area- the staff was very kind - the room i was in was just enough for one person - the walls were dirty asf but the staff stated they are repainting walls soon - the bathroom was clean but small-no complaints about the shower- the water pressure and temperature was perfect- the sink was very small in order to brush my teeth i had to manuever a specific way so the spit can go in the sink- using the toilet it was a cramped situation - i brought my own facecloth, bath towel, and bed sheet - they need to upgrade their bedding, curtains and walls - if youre only there for 1 or 2 days then this is not a bad place to actually stay at for the price i paid.

This place is in a dangerous neighborhood, the hotel feels like a place for illegal activity. Don’t stay here unless you need a place where low vibration activities need to take place. There are plenty of other options. This place is scary and dangerous. Loud sirens and sketchy activity all around.

It was cool. just bathroom is a small. and there were flies in my room. other than that it was a descent stay.

Do yourselves a favor and don’t repeat our mistake. Due to a flight delay getting into JFK we decided to stay here for the night as it was a short drive from the airport and it was too late to take the train we had planned on taking. The photos on Expedia looked nice enough for one night of rest before continuing our journey. But the place is a dump. It reeks of stale cigarette smoke and I probably got 4 hours of sleep at most due to the noise from the street and waking up coughing due to the air quality. We had to switch rooms from our original room because of stains and cigarette burns on the bed. Second room was better but by a slim margin. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning, and hopefully didn’t get sick. The gentleman that checked us in was nice, probably because we were a welcomed departure from their usual clientele. I would not stay here again.

Shops near by. Good for one night.

The hotel is basic and practical. A place to lay your head at night and a bath to get a shower. It’s not a place to lay back and enjoy the atmosphere. I didn’t have an issue with the hotel being basic and practical. My issue was not with the loud music invading the space late at night. I disapprove of staff banging on doors after 11pm and seeming to be doing house keeping. I also left for another location since on weekends, rates goes up in spite of the fact that I was occupying a room at the start of the week.

The hotel was clean but the room and bathroom were very small. Also there were no mini fridges in the room. And no parking available like that. Overall good experience and clean place.
