Holiday Inn Charlotte Airport by IHG

Good for the buck.

This property needs new ownership. The room was dirty. There were stains on the carpet. I stayed there for an hour and left. I would not recommend this property to someone with a family.

Our room was terrific: spacious, clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. The staff were all helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. However, we had 2 issues: there was a strong sewer-like smell coming from the bathroom sink, and although it dissipated after a while, it never quite disappeared. Also, the living room air conditioner made a constant loud whining noise until we finally had to turn it off. We didn't want to call downstairs about either of those issues because we needed to go to sleep very early and so couldn't wait for someone to fix it.

Location. Rstaurant onsite was decent. Seemed a little run down, but served its purpose. Check in was chaotic. They need MORE staff and more than one credit card terminal working. Lawsuit for credit card misuse and data breach easily possible. Something to consider. They are having issues with shuttle radios not working. I felt bad for check in person trying to. constantly putting out fires. Market place is way overpriced and items are stale and or old (not quite expired, but definitely not fresh).

Comfortable bed. Very nice staff. Especially Luis in the restaurant. Wifi was unreliable. Important for me since I’m working. Also a slight sewage smell in two locations . Restaurant prices were very high

Very friendly staff. They helped make our stay easy.

The front desk was very helpful and understanding. the transportation to and from the airport was friendly and on time. I only stayed a few hours but it was a verey nice stay. I wish I had more time to stay at the hotel to use the complementary vouchers that were given. I didnt have enough time there to really grade the service.

Clean. Restaurant in house. Did not expect to pay extra for parking.

The staff was excellent. The motel needs to be updated but it was clean and super convenient to the airport. We’ll be staying there upon our return.

Our experience was not nearly as good as the first time we stayed 10 days previous. Towels were dirty. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work so blow drying hair was done with no mirror. The restaurant-which we'd been told opened at 5- was deserted. I finally found someone who told me no one had shown up to work in the restaurant! Room seemed noisier. All in all, extremely sub par. Staff was nice-the one positive.
