We stay at this hotel when our daughter plays in Dalton for softball. It's always been nice and clean with a nice selection for breakfast. Unfortunately this past time and the time before it didn't seem like it had been maintained very well. We usually have no complaints but last time the shower wouldn't drain and this time was not very clean.

Was very clean. Breakfast was great. Great walking distance to several different places to eat. Very safe area as well.

Everything was fine except our bathroom. The door to the bathroom is a sliding door and it wouldn’t stay closed and it didn’t lock. The other issue we kept running into was there was no exhaust fan so the bathroom stayed VERY humid, wet & hot! The rest of the hotel was perfectly fine! Located next to a newer/upcoming area !

My only complaint was that at check in I was charged an additional $75 because we were traveling home with our dog. I was unaware of the pet fee and to me, $75 is excessive.

Hampton Inn has really got bad. Use to be very well maintained and clean.

We asked the front desk for replacement towels and trash emptying in the morning before going out. When we returned to the room, our used towels were still on the bathroom floor and the trash bin was overflowing. To her credit, the night clerk provided replacement towels. The breakfast buffet was fair. The eggs were warm, but the sausage tasted like cardboard.

Clean carpet (not sticky) in spite of the high humidity the night we arrived. Quiet hallways, clean bed. There was a towel that looked like someone had rubbed their face on and then, folded the towel and placed back on the stack. Didn’t report to staff as we were passing through the city.
