Great views and staff (except kitchen staff) Boring and bland breakfast. Didn’t put milk out so charged me for milk.

Excelent position above the river, great view. Very well maintained, clean, very kind personel. Large swimming pool. The place (a few houses and about three hotels) is isolated but a great stop.during a river tour. This is a resort that exceeds expectations - a surprise in such a remote location. Everything was great, except one thing. We ordered our dinner a la card. We.ordered various simple one course meals and then waited (15 people) for a very long time. We got a meal each at different time in a period of about an hour. But every single meal.was delicious.

Location : View Breakfast terrible :

Beautiful traditional Thai style hotel. ? Beds weren't a queen. It was two single beds put together

Pleasant
-
The location and the breakfast was good The hotel is tired and badly in need of modernisation. We booked a family room but there were only two beds that had to be pushed together. So not really suitable for two adults and two children

Great location. The rooms are old and need updating, but was fine for 1 night

The suite was comfortable and lovely to stay in. It was a key system, very interesting too. There was music from The casino across at Lao. It was playing into the night and we could not fall asleep. Would have been good if there was double glazed glass to keep the noise off.

Actually noting It is a run down hotel, with terrible breakfast.
-
This is a very well run hotel. The staff are excellent. The restaurant is great. I love the elegance of the hotel. The rooms are dated but I like that, everything works, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Only two things are in the negative, the aircon in the room is really noisy, and the heat in the elevator is awful, it needs aircon.

I have been a guest here a great many times. I appreciate the classic and timeless interior.. Reminds me of other classic hotels I have stayed in during my lifetime. Very comfortable furniture and beds. The sitting arrangement outside the rooms offers a great view of the river Mekhong. Breakfast on the terrasse likewise. The waiter gave wonderful service and was very attentative. Nextt time I will reguest a room on the 3rd or 4th floor as the tress outside the hotel have grown and block some of the view.
