DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport - Rosemont

Booked a King size bed. Got up to our room and it was smaller than the standard King size everyone expects when booking that size. Asked the front desk staff and they insisted it was King size. Did some quick measuring and it is in fact a Queen size for every other person in the country and would have been a deciding factor on where I stayed had I known they were truly a Queen being touted as a King. Very disappointed with the bed size and was able to make do but there are plenty of people out there that require that size bed to sleep comfortably, and the foldout couch bed would still not have been sufficient to compensate for the smaller bed depending on their physical needs. Location was great and access to food was also fantastic although very pricey, especially for the morning breakfast that is normally free in other hotels. I would personally look around at other comparable hotels if I go back to the same area since there are plenty to choose from.

Seeing the fireworks (after the concert on the lawn nearby) from our room was a special surprise. The warm chocolate chip cookies upon our welcome were a real treat (as were the extra ones we requested each time we passed through the lobby ;) ). A full-service bar/ lounge and restaurant is available to guests and friends. The breakfast buffet is excellent (lots of tasty choices) and reasonably priced. Call ahead to see what they offer during the week. The adjacent Morton Steakhouse is accessible through the lobby as well as outside. They offer valet service for patrons of the restaurant and/ or hotel. Self-parking in the deck was easy ($20 flat rate for up to 24 hours for which you can pay online). Level 2 has an indoor elevated walkway from the deck to the hotel's 2nd floor (luggage carts are available in the lobby at the concierge desk). A 24-hour convenience nook is available for personal necessities, grab-n-go foods/ snacks/ drinks and cans or bottles for a relaxing night cap. Starbucks is located near the bar and serves a limited menu of coffees, teas, carbs, and non-caffenated drinks. It's perfect before you head over to the Convention Center or hopping on the free shuttle to the airport or shop

This was an excellent choice to stay at. It is a small walk to the train for the blue line but it beats riding an uber to the city.

Great experience! Shuttle driver was kind, helpful, and had a great sense of humor which was so appreciated after a long travel day! Desk check-in staff were super kind. Gave us fresh warm chocolate chip cookies. Waiter at restaurant was kind and funny! Food was delicious and big portions! Breakfast was yummy, especially the waffles! The cook making waffles and omelets was super friendly and a great cook! Then Natalie at the front desk helped us store insulin to keep it cold and kept our ice packs frozen after we checked out and stored our luggage until we came back from shopping and getting lunch before our flight! Truly wonderful experience! Comfy beds. Clean room. Hot shower.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were so exceptional clean. I love that the shower and tub were separate. I was in a nice location to walk to various places.

Rahim at the bar was amazing.

Good location, however the hotel needs some maintenance. Rooms and bathrooms paint/wallpaper look a bit beaten up.

Door came off the hinges at 2am. Blew a breaker for the entire bathroom when my wife plugged in her curling iron at 3am.

Very good location and excellent environment. The people in the restaurant were very nice and super friendly. We like them.

The room was beautiful, nice sized TV, bathroom had shower and tub. Only downside was paying for parking which was $20 a day. I stayed there but was shooting at a dart tournament at Hyatt Regency.

I liked that it was close to the convention center. Fire alarm went off when we were sleeping, the whole building was evacuated, the wall paper in the room was lifting.

The staff were rude. I rented two rooms for two nights and both bathrooms toilets didn’t flush properly! We paid way more than the rooms were worth.
