Wonderful place. Will stay there again.

The staff were all very professional and nice from the valet parking, registration, etc. We got a King Size bedroom. We were offered a better option for additional amount but declined. It was one of the older non renovated rooms and I am with, in preserving the character but the closet door handle doesn’t even work. It has the smallest bathroom and won’t fit two people at the same time. The size of the bedroom is good. The mattress is obviously old and hasn’t been changed in ages. The mid section of the bed is angled to the center. It’s a good thing we were only there for one night.

Excellent hotel, feels like stepping into the romantic version of the past!

Overall the hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent. The only issue I had was how outdated the rooms were, and the layout of the room itself. The TV being off to the side not facing the beds threw me off. The room was somewhat clean, but we did have to change rooms once because the first room did have a strange scent when we first arrived.

Clean room, helpful staff

We were a bit tired when we arrived. Navigating the building was my one issue. Somewhat hard to find registration and then It seems that we had to walk across a dining area to get to the elevators. I felt a little anxious about finding my way out in an emergency.

My kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was outstanding. To be honest, this hotel had so many extras we didn’t use. But that’s just our situation. The proximity to everything Chicago had to offer was the main benefit.

The two bedroom suite was excellent. Fantastic, centralized location and such a wonderful property.

Exceptional

The lobby was beautiful and the location was great. The front desk manager was rude, the bathroom was terribly out of date, the bed was uncomfortable. I wish I had stayed anywhere else with the exception of the location.

GREAT!

Wonderful! Stay here. Classy and location is amazing. Parking is hard to find but good to include in the stay. No issues.
-
It was the only one available No valet parking available you have to go upstairs and make many phone calls to get someone Super busy the staff have no time for you. Confusing entrances.

Staff was helpful

The property is good. Has not been updated in a while but it is in a central location.

The public areas are beautiful. Staff was outgoing, engaging and helpful. The room we had was in dire need of TLC. Bathroom especially: broken fan that was ready to fall, rusty door frame, shower head that looked to be an afterthought and shower curtain doesnt prevent water from leaking (which is probably why the door frame is rusting)

Great location to access everything Chicago have to offer. Easy access to 3 streets, subway, as well walking distance to nearby parks and museum. The room was clean and well maintained. I recommend to add breakfast in booking the wait time was no more than 20 minutes and enjoyed the hot and fresh meal. My outbound flight was 6 p.m., so I added late check-out at 3 p.m. Normally don't get approved, but, I was lucky. Housekeeping believe guest check out at 11 a.m., so don't panic and let them know in advance. Don't forget to ask for free water bottes from the check-in desk. The restroom was in excellent condition, except, there was a visible crack/scratch in the mirror. (See attached photo). It is mostly quite, except, you can hear next door using water in the restroom. I was out most of the day, so it is no big issue.

The architecture and history is excellent and well worth the visit. The food is great and the bar and lounge were active and fun. The staff was excellent and friendly.

It was good but the rooms need a bit of renovation . The experience from check out to check out was smooth. Breakfast was tasty 😋 will be back soon
