Our top choices. This one was not clean and had a bad animal smell on our floor. Bar and staff at the bar was amazing. Food quality was poor.

This hotel is located on Broadway in downtown Columbus, Georgia. It is what Columbus refers to as a boutique hotel. We were there one night. It was clean and well appointed. We didn't have any problems. We did not visit any dining or other amenities offered. Very helpful staff.

The staff exhibited a textbook example of the "NO" approach to customer service--and, worse, they lied. Here's what happened: The sliding glass door in our bathroom did not close. When I called the front desk, they told me there was no maintenance staff on duty. When I asked to move to another room, they said there was not one available--that they were fully booked. I looked at Booking.com, which showed at least 5 rooms of the same type available that night in that hotel. I asked to speak to the manager and was told at first that they were unavailable until the next day. Finally, when we returned from dinner, the manager had appeared, and she told me that a repairman would be coming to fix the door. He finally arrived sometime around 10:00, and proceeded to break the glass door in the process of trying to get it back on it's track. He said he would just sweep up the tiny shards of glass and it would be fine. I really didn't want to spend the night walking around barefoot in a room with a broken glass door and splinters on the floor, so, I went back downstairs, and the manager finally agreed to move us to another room. We got into that room after 11:00. If they had just moved us to a new room when we first asked, this review would have been very different.

Everything! Nothing.

Hotel staff, especially the room attendants, were welcoming, and engaging. The grounds, lobby, rooms, and hallways were nearly immaculate in appearance. The showers feel small and cramped and its sliding glass door was noisy and seemed flimsy. While I like the aesthetic of the glass bathroom door, I would be concerned if I had a younger child. The sprays of the shower heads a showing signs of rust or hardware build-up. I’ve enjoyed a greater selection of tea and sweetener options. Honey and Stevia would have great options for tea drinker like myself, who enjoy tea but avoid artificial sweeteners and prefer to avoid sugar.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable

Location and helpful staff

The location downtown and the smell of the hotel The only thing I will complain about is possibly having a heavier blanket.

A little high priced

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and a great value for what we paid. Overall, the property met our basic needs, and we would consider staying again in the future. The room was quite cold due to the AC continuing to run even after it was turned off (we raised concerns w/ the front desk but was told that’s just how the AC runs at this hotel and even requested extra blankets which were left outside the door on the floor in the hallway). Check-in was also a bit confusing, as there was initial uncertainty around our prepaid reservation, and we would have appreciated more proactive assistance. While the issues were manageable, a bit more flexibility, compassion or acknowledgment of the inconveniences would have gone a long way.

Beautiful and a perfect location for everything downtown Columbus! Very modern rooms and the most comfortable bed and pillows! The check in was very smooth and fast. The staff member doing the check in was not friendly and had a whole bag of Chick fil an out in the open. Walking up to the desk smelt like fast food. He was not pleasant and seemed bothered I showed up. I woke up at 9am to banging on my door. I ignored since I wasn’t expecting anyone. They continued to bang so I had to get up and answer. It was a woman who seemed to say her name was Dallas? Asking if I needed towels. I continued to hear her bang and yell thought the hall asking people if they needed towels. For how much we are paying a night, that is absolutely not acceptable and ruined my whole experience.

I enjoyed my stay, but there was only one person supporting breakfast so they could not do any eggs or special requests.
