AC Hotel by Marriott Columbus Downtown

Room experience was riddled with poor design choices that lack basic hospitality features that one would expect from a room at this price tier. Problems were: - There was no door separating the bedroom from the living area. - Bathroom has sliding glass door that lets light into the entire room at night when other people are trying to sleep - Only one towel hook in the bathroom - Safe is not big enough for a standard size laptop (Macbook) - Part of the fridge was so cold that it caused a canned water to expand and explode loudly - No microwave - Coffee pot was stored in a place where it could not be plugged in - Very limited hanger and drawer space. Yet the wardrobe was next to a large empty wall that could accommodate more storage - Front desk refused to allow us to split the charges on our bill. How this is impossible in 2026 baffles me. - When checking out, agent didn't ask how our stay was - Lot of highway noise in living room area. Good parts: - Bed was comfortable - White noise machine helped mitigate sound issues - Shower was fine - Nice view of the park - Good location

Staff was very friendly. Food was great in the restaurant inside the hotel along with happy hour I wasn’t informed you had to pay for valet parking. I feel parking should be included in the cost of the hotel stay we did not use valet so therefore it was extra cost was not necessary.

Nice place for a quick stop in Columbus for a concert. We enjoyed happy hour sitting at the bar at Spruce Street (lobby level). The food and drinks were good and we liked chatting with the bartender. We would have liked to visit the rooftop bar, but it didn't open until after we left for the concert and closed before we got back (4PM-11PM on a Saturday). The staff was all very friendly and helpful - one of the women at the front desk even gave me her own earring back when I told her I lost mine! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom towels were pretty rough, the shower rainhead was disappointing, and the shower caulk was a little stained. Not a deciding factor but maybe someone else agrees with me...the placement of the toilet facing the vanity was weird! The layout of the room was very nice otherwise. We stopped by the North Market across the street before leaving town and left with full bellies and bags full of goodies to take home! We would definitely stay here again.

No free breakfast. Charged to room. We didn't have it. Restaurant was good - a bit expensive, but good. People were very good. Problem with the sink water valves- no hot water. Shower floor a little dirty looking. Coffee maker located nowhere near an outlet- had move it to a table in another room... 1 half and half creamer and 1 coffee mate. Not enought. The coffee was poor. I had to throw it out. The little store had disappointing selection.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Tv channels would work properly occasionally but with so much to do out there it didn’t bother us u less you have children to entertain. Everything was clean. Breakfast had to be paid for due to a premier feel and food on the table. Parking is NOT free.

The room was nice but the view wasn’t the best. I asked for a room with a nice view of the city and I got a view of the back parking lot!

The person at the front desk was cold and distant. The restaurant hosts( there was a male and a female) refuse to seat us because we didn’t have a reservation. There were only two of us and the restaurant seemed empty with a few people sitting at the bar. They offered no consideration just NO. We ordered DoorDash and it was a hit. So thanks restaurant staff. This AC is totally different from other ACs I’ve stayed at. Very disappointed.

nothing I paid for a room and didn't get to stay because the front desk said they did not receive payment but I showed them where the money was taken from my account and they still didn't let me stay

The hotel had to charge me again because the stamp there did not know where she was doing

The staff was AMAZING. I didnt catch her name, but the girl with the blonde & brown hair and green (i think) eyes was so helpful and they were able to upgrade our room because it is our anniversary/Sonic Temple trip. We were blown away with her and everyone else's kindness. Made this trip SO memorable. Coming all the way from Salt Lake City to a brand new place is tricky because we had no idea what to expect but we got so lucky with these guys 💛💛💛💛💛

I had early check in they put me on last got to my room an hour late was late for my concert

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and courteous. It was nice to have dining choices right at the hotel and also very close by to walk to. The rooftop bar was very nice. I can't say there was anything I didn't like

The entire staff starting with Valet was very friendly and helpful during our brief visit. Property was spotless. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to family or friends.
