Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbus-Dublin

I would have given 5 stars but the bed was very uncomfortable. Everything else was great.

Clean, spacious, well appointed room. Good breakfast.

Having stayed at another Hilton in the area, was disappointed in the dated room and cleanliness. unfortunately, we weren’t able to get a reservation at the Hilton on Lane Avenue in Columbus. This hotel wasn’t even in the same ballpark. The smell on our floor was horrible. There were several little things wrong with our room such as the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall the mirrors look like they have been cleaned with 30 paper towels. The pillow was as flat as a pancake had to be doubled over to use, and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Our room was cleaned during our stay evidently the person who did the cleaning did not open the dishwasher. The dishes were there upon our arrival and still there when we left this hotel just wasn’t up to the Hilton standards that were used to we were not informed that there was a snack available on Wednesday evening. I believe the reservation is behind the desk said it was soup. You would think upon arrival the amenities would all have been listed and given to the person checking in.

Only downside to the stay was that the indoor pool was NOT heated therefore too cold to swim which was what I was looking forward to.

Sadly, Hilton has been disappointing during the last couple of our stays in various locations. At this point, we’ll probably stick with Marriott moving forward.

Nothing. Room wasn't even found at 3 pm check by Melissa who had her name badge backward. I didn't stay there because no room reservation was found and I was still charged for the room they didn't give me. SCAM!!! Unsafe as exits are blocked with cones.

The hot tub and pool and basketball court. Very clean and so much fun

Room was large with two big TVs that we could easily log into our apps. Water pressure was great in the shower with nice large bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Front desk gave us plenty of big soft blankets and sheets for the fold out couch. Full refrigerator with an ice machine was a huge plus for us.

In the first room, there was a blood stain on the toilet, and the washroom had a very strong, unpleasant odor. The second room was not any better, there was visible hair in the bedsheets, which immediately raised hygiene concerns. Across the rooms I was shown, the washrooms consistently smelled bad, and even spraying did not help. At that point, I was informed that there were no other rooms available. This situation made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and I did not feel safe staying there due to concerns about potential exposure to infections or unsanitary conditions. As a result, I had to check out within a few hours and book another hotel elsewhere for my own safety and peace of mind.
