Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dayton Downtown

IT WAS PERFECT, EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED

I booked this hotel room at the wrong location and immediately contacted the staff to try to cancel my reservation. They were unwilling to give even a partial refund or give any consideration to my mistake. Very disappointed. Paid $200 for a hotel room that we didn’t even stay in.

I didn’t like that they made me download the parking app.

The parking situation is like musical chairs. Even though you are assigned a parking space, it seems like the only people that enforce that is the front desk.

Front desk clerk Lisa was amazing. This was my first time visiting Dayton and she made me feel welcomed. I tried every restaurant she recommended and they were all delicious . Thank you

That I left. No easy access to the hotel once parked. We ended up leaving and did not stay overnight. I went to a different hotel. I could not hear the guest service guy as he spoke so fast I had to have him repeat several times the directions to get to and from the parking garage. He made it very clear that the potential for any issues to happen to our vehicle while in the parking garage would not be the hotel's fault. Red flag number one.

Breakfast selection not as good as several other Marriott Inn & Suites I have stayed at recently-no fruit ex cept bananas and oranges. Room overlooked major street with loud traffic most of the night. Baseball games at stadium across the street were loud until the games ended. Regular lobby bartender was off and the backup staff could hve been better prepared for that role. However, fairly good value for the price.

We came down for a Dragons Captains baseball game, and this hotel is the perfect walking distance to DayAir Stadium! The staff is VERY FRIENDLY and very helpful!! 10/10 recommend!! The rooms aren’t exactly soundproof you definitely her the outside noise and the stomping of the neighbors above. But those can easily be overlooked. This is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at!

Fantastic location, cross the street from a minor league baseball park (High A level) with restaurants and bars around the park. Clean room and great coffee in the morning!
