Hotel Ardent Dayton Downtown, Tapestry Collection By Hilton

My daughter, husband and I had reserved and paid for two rooms with king size beds. There was a little problem checking in because the reservation said there was money owed when. there shouldn’t have been because prepaid for the rooms. We were given rooms 210 and 310 and both were two queen beds and not a king ! I didn’t complain about the rooms because they were clean and I was too tired to deal with changing rooms. The second issue was the air conditioners in both room. When the air conditioner would cycle on, it was extremely loud. It was so loud, none of us slept very well. It was so loud , it would wake us up every time it would go on. The third problem was only in my room and it was the shower. The door of the sliding door in the shower would not stay closed so water flooded the floor.

The location is terrific. Walking distance from Lincoln sites and other historic downtown sites will go there many times as before for that alone, not to mention the hotel itself aAlso close to Maldaners, such a good and historic restaurant. Don't stay in the outskirts in you can stay in the city center I watched people for the deaf convention being ignored as other check ins barged past them. I did point to the deaf people waiting to check in, but it didn't seem to matter.

Everything was wonderful. Bed and pillows were so nice, slept like a baby staff amazing too and this morning brunch was amazing. Highly recommend!

The room was nice but the air conditioner was so loud so it didn’t make sleeping very comfortable. The room was clean except for a couple bugs on the floor.

We went to the bar asked for 3 different types of drinks that they had on the menu and thy were out of them. When we got back from our show around 10:30 they were closed. And there’s not any other place to walk to.

The restaurant in the hotel was very good. Valet parking was easy to use. The room was very clean and nice. The shower had great water pressure.

We booked for only one night and it exceeded expectations, the room was adorable, clean, the whole hotel smelled fresh, parking was a breeze, the staff was lovely, the TV had preloaded streaming services just had to log in. The shower alone was worth the price, the water pressure was adjustable and amazing! It does spray out of the shower a bit so keep the door shut! The room was on the pricier side but it was worth paying for peace of mind and comfort. My only regret was only staying one night! We will be back as we didn’t get to explore the hotels opportunities or try the restaurant and beautiful bar!

It was a little weird check in because there was a spill that happened near the elevator that the staff was dealing with. So, never was told about amenities. Which was fine. Valet drivers couldn’t tell us only tell us that the garage closes at 9PM but didn’t know when it opened. We were told it was going to be parked at a meter but wasn’t there. Our room was very nice but around 8pm it started to smell like cigarettes and just got worse until around 10pm. Overall, everything was fine. I probably wouldn’t recommend staying here with a toddler. Restaurant was fine too. Our server was amazing. Great for couples or adult groups.

The shower door would not close. I asked to be fixed, never was addressed.

My husband and I visited for a weekend staycation. The hotel was beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The attached restaurant, Bistecca, offered delicious food and drinks and stellar service. We look forward to visiting again.

On a positive note, the valet service was excellent—very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the stay.
