Holiday Inn Downtown - Mercy Area by IHG

Clean rooms, mini fridge and microwave, parking lot was under repair so had to walk to a temporary lot but other then that this was a nice hotel. Very close to downtown which was very convenient.

I stayed at this hotel years prior but this visit lacked working ice machine on floor of room. Plus had to visit 3 different vending machines to get one that worked. Staff were friendly and shuttle was nice!

I felt there should have been notice that their normal parking lot was under construction so we could have prepared for hauling our luggage across the street. We found some trash from the last guests in our room which made us question the cleanliness of our room. We went down for breakfast at 705 we’re told the food wasn’t ready yet so decided just to leave by 715.

Great shuttle service to and from the concert!!! The parking at the hotel is in the lot right across due to theirs being closed. Other than that it was a great stay

Parking lot was closed so had long walk from our vehicle to the lobby. Old When we checked out it had been storming. Same distance to the vehicle. Not informed about the closed lot. Room was not cleaned for uor 2nd day. A towel used for makeup removal was placed Back for reuse. Local employees said since we used Expedia to reserve rooms they could resolve any complaints.

This is a great hotel with a close walk to the Casey's Center.

Frankly considering this hotel serves a major trauma center, it is absolutely ridiculous the property is in such a run down state.

All the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were 3 reasons we gave 4 instead of 5 on the overall rating: 1) the "free breakfast" was only extended to 2 adults from each room, and we had 4 adults in our room. So rather than eat in the hotel restaurant, we went to a local favorite brunch place, to cater to the wishes of the group, so that 'amenity' was wasted on us. 2) we had trouble figuring out how to get to the hotel because of the parking lot being closed. We did eventually locate the correct lot and were able to schlepp our luggage across the street safely, with some extra effort. 3) the faucet in the tub/shower was almost impossible to turn fully off. All 4 adult members of our party tried to turn the tub faucet so the water would fully STOP, but only the heavily muscled, 21-year old college athlete member of our party was able to get it turned fully off with great effort. I definitely want to repeat that ALL the staff were friendly and helpful, from Ken at the desk, to the wonderful bartender/waitress in Cityscape the night we arrived, to the housekeeping staff. Overall, it was a GOOD stay, with a few inconveniences.

Had to change rooms because is ac units inoperable and the other noisy.

The air conditioner was barely trickling out anything cold. When we woke up in the morning it was almost 80° in our room. The TV did not work at all. It's been a known issue for a while and they didn't bother to mention any of it on check-in. No discount was offered because we looked through hotels.com. I would never stay there again

The only issue I took is that there was no message about the lack of parking in the property and where to park is spare lot was full.

The water was brown and there was no hot water or water pressure. The room was old and beaten up.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. No breakfast included but that was known before booking.

I thought staff were exceptional and very accommodating That I had someone with access issues and there was no close parking to the facility. No handicap!!

They didn’t have an airport shuttle even though they stated they did.

Parking was terrible, apparently that’s been going on for years, pool was dirty, rooms were extremely hot, we ended up not staying and going hone.
