We had asked by email to check in a few hours earlier, and it was confirmed by email that this was possible. When we arrived, they could not find our reservation, after which we were sent to their old apartment to check in there. We were also unable to check in earlier. The room bed was not in order... no pans, even though it is an apartment. The service has become very poor.

Unfortunately the property itself fails on many levels. I travel a lot and a lot of things have to go wrong for me to submit a poor review here! Definitely need to remove the words “grand” and “luxury” from its name. Poor check-in and check-out experiences, poor customer service, broken elevator, dirty and smelly room, banged up furniture, old and uncomfortable bed, noise issues, construction..

My apartment was amazing , very spacious and clean

There was zero golf view. Management blamed “construction,” yet there was no construction anywhere in sight. The bed was not a king, it was a full-size bed. The room had a dirty futon, blood on the closet floor, handprints on the mirror, and cheap paper towels. This property markets itself as luxury, but the condition was closer to a roadside motel. There is no daily housekeeping. Only one trash bag was provided for a 4 night stay. When I asked for another, the front desk told me to walk across the street to Publix and buy one myself. Guest services are only available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. If you have an issue outside those hours, you are on your own. I raised concerns during my stay and was ignored until Monday, then told I should have contacted them during office hours, which I did. For all of this, they offered $88 for the inconvenience. If you are an owner whose unit is being rented through this property, you should be aware of how guest experiences like this reflect on your investment. Nothing superior about this room. Nothing luxury about this property or the room itself. Save your money. Stay at an actual hotel

Great property to stay for short term periods. The gym is small but it has enough for you to get a good workout. The pool is nice but the water is so cold! There are restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store all within a couple of blocks of the building. The main elevator is always broken, despite them having technicians coming in to work on the problem. There's usually one working at all times along with the staff elevator on the other side of the building, but for the amount of people that stay here it's not enough.

    2 lifts broke.

I had the 1 bedroom apartment with balcony facing street. Windows were floor to ceilings full kitchen with dishwasher all new appliances there is a big pool that was freezing cold and a spacious gym also sauna and parking available. The whole apartment was spacious and beautiful also very safe the neighborhood was safe tons of restaurants. But if you’re looking for a thrill go to south beach. This area is rich and classy lol.

The bathroom and kitchen were not clean properly. The bathroom show had lots of hair, and the kitchen floor was not cleaned. Also, consider putting a kettle in the kitchen and toaster. Sandwich press did not work.

Everything was simply beautiful. We had a small issue in the beginning and guest services took care of it right away and made the rest of the stay great. We have already booked for next year! The pool should stay open later! Too beautiful and serene to close at 7pm

Good !!! But I have a bad experience with the batteries of the lock door I must spend two hours until they came to fix it

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

I also started my stay by being given TWO damaged elevator keys. I spent a good hour going back and forth with them to the elevator as the "control was new." Maybe it was, but it didn't work. The third time was a charm! All this fun with two tired kids in tow. I got a parking ticket while parked in the garage and displaying a temporary parking tag upon arrival,I was told I had to fight it with the city,UGH! Stressful stay for sure!

The cleaning is very average and the furniture is very deteriorated.

  • Engine customer Jan 2025

It wasn’t that clean and lack of kitchen utensils.

Front line staff were all nice and their effort appreciated. I felt they had seen this mis-representation before and were trying their best to manage it. In my opinion this was mis-sold and mis-represented on Booking as a hotel. It’s an apartment share in a large, modern apartment block. Many things wrong compared to regular hotel. 90 minute check in effort- back and forth calls to Provident night manager (not onsite). Building concierge has no task other than to provide check in elevator ‘tag’ and room code. I re-checked against the advert today. If it is a short term vacation rental …then it shouldn’t be under hotels and it shouldn’t claim a microwave as sufficient to make a single below average sized room - in my opinion - a ‘vacation stay apartment’. Over priced, no parking (mis-stated on booking), no daily service, room is separated from main apartment by a door so thin the light from next door shines through. Luckily the gentleman next door played Mozart so could cope… The elevator ‘tag’ was broken (confirmed by building concierge) so couldn’t come and go as needed until it was replaced day 2 of three day stay. One of the two bedroom side lamps was broken. The slow draining sink became completely blocked on last morning of a 3 night stay. There was no chain on the front door (the fitment was there but no chain). The spy hole was stuffed with toilet tissue. Yale code lock was inoperative one night. Let’s be generous and call it operator error. In a normal hotel that would immediately have been resolved. 45 minute wait until 10:30pm for hotel maintenance gentleman to arrive from Provident Blue hotel which was a 14 minute walk away (this was not the responsibility of the building concierge). The Provident Grand auxiliary onsite office was not open at any time where normal business people come and go for daily work to their offices. I received 4 stern letters that I must come the next day before 3 pm to complete the check in process ‘NO EXEMPTIONS’. Eh? Check in the day after you arrive somewhere and then send stern reminders that there are ‘no exemptions’ on day 2. Try that at a Hilton or intercontinental.

Washer detergent holder broken. Reported to office. Apartment had no hot water. Reported to office. Closet lighting was not working. Reported to office. No tv, internet, or wifi for 3 days. Reported to office. Office worker came to verify and the tv, internet, and wifi was still down. Stated he had to contact the internet company. Was not resolved during our stay. Pool was under construction and this was not disclosed when we booked our stay. So disappointed. Was told we had to use the pool at another facility. Not what we expected at all.
