Cambria Hotel LAX

Bed was very hard ask for extra cover the cover had stains in it no house men to deliver needs to room had to go down to the front desk try to turn on room heater room heater did not get hot blue cold air for the whole day. It was extremely cold. Had to go by a blanket at a nearby target to keep warm.

I didn’t like that the shower didn’t have a glass door. All the water goes on the tile floor creating

Great location some sketchy homeless people roaming around parking lot was not a highlight

The hotel was clean. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was ok. The mattress was uncomfortable. I left with an aching back. The bedding was not plush and the bedspread was very rough. I probably won’t stay here again. For the cost I was expecting a more comfortable bed.

Well maintained property, friendly staff, & utilizes text messages to communicate throughout your stay. Noticed they don’t offer a water station, when you look up amenities it mentions laundry facilities, but asked staff and was informed they don’t offer it any longer. Reached out via text to get housekeeping services and received a response but for some reason it didn’t take place.

Our room was very dirty and had black mold in the bathroom, and yes I have proof. They moved us to another room which was a little cleaner and didn’t appear to have black mold but service was still terrible. Had to ask for clean towels 3 different times one of which they said they were out. Once they finally brought them they only brought enough for two people and there were four of us. Asked for more body wash due to it being empty and they never filled it. Our last night there my kids had to use wet towels and we had to use shampoo to wash due to them not filling the body wash.

Fitted sheet had a stain asked for new sheet the housekeeper only fluffed the bed. Still no washcloths

Breakfast is very poor, you need to order from the menu and then you get your breakfast to the table , no extra if you want to eat something else or more vegetables,bread or fruits, they can be much better in my opinion

The property was close and convenient to where we were working & the parking lot could accommodate our sprinter van.. Staff never mentioned the activities that were complimentary to guests each day. The TV remotes did not work well at all due to some sort of jimmy rigged eye for remote. TV never worked well and was disappointing. Our room only had a very small bathroom garbage can even though our room was a king suite. No room cleaning unless requested, our room had no coffee or tea as it was advertised. Room was super big but furniture was small and oddly appointed for the space.

While the hotel once inside looked good and room was acceptable what was not acceptable was the location. Nothing around the hotel, parking was $27/night and there was a homeless person sitting near the entrance way. We felt so uncomfortable with the location that we decided to book another hotel and forfeited the first night cost for original planned stay. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice check in/out staff and breakfast staff. A delicious breakfast and coffee. Parking advertised as $17 (as Choice member) still cost $27. Asked for a suite room, did not get the one requested (needed the double bed suite due to 2 young children). Pet friendly but not KID friendly (no crib)
