La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fairborn Wright-Patterson

The gal at the front desk was very pleasant! The breakfast was good. The hotel is showing its age, but still decent. We were there for 1 night, and our biggest issue was seeing a few roaches in the bathroom in the night. They were young, but it was still disturbing. We let the front desk know at checkout, and she was very apologetic.

We were first put in an accessories room, my husband is a disabled vet, it was horrible. It smelled odd, sour, there were holes in the carpet, an old dirty dried up air freshener in an outlet, a huge tear in the desk chair and stains all over the sitting chair. In our opinion, it looked like they don't maintain the accessible rooms very well. But the worst thing happened when my husband took a shower. He got in and when he started closing the shower door, IT FELL. Because he's a big guy, he was able to catch it before it hit the floor. If it would have been me, who knows what the outcome would have been. There was also soap in the shower, which means it had not been cleaned, if they would have cleaned it, they would have discovered the shower door and we wouldn't have been put in a dangerous situation. We were in that room 2 nights. The room they moved us to was fine except it was 2 queens instead of a king, which is what we had booked because my husband is tall. So, my husband now had to sleep in a bed that was too small for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was disappointing as well, including watered down waffle batter, saving money no doubt. We contacted them to try and get a partial refund and heard nothing. Very, very disappointed.

Very convenient for the money, staff was friendly and check in was quick and painless.

My granddaughter loved it, the rest of us not as much. It just seemed a lot of corners were cut and maybe they’re short staffed on cleaning crew. The tp was just on a rod on the wall & fell down all the time, there was flaking paint, stains on the sheets and the toilet was dirty or stained. The hvac did work well, the staff is nice and it was quiet. I’ve definitely stayed at worse places.

Would have liked to have bacon or sausage patties for breakfast along with the eggs, pancakes and biscuits / gravy.

Pool was cold and dirty. Ants in our room. Staff were rude. Breakfast was cold. Shower head was broken. Pillows were hard. Linens/towels didn’t smell clean. Couldn’t get back in to hotel from dog area, card reader was broke. All garbages were full and overflowing. Room door handle was broke. Shower floor was slippery with no texture. All the windows in the hotel permanently fogged and murky. This was one of the worst hotels we have stayed at.

Never seemed to be anyone at the front desk. Breakfast wasn't all that great. Goose poop all over the parking lot and sidewalks. Noise between rooms that have a connecting door. Paint pealing off of the repainted bathroom tub. Housekeeping did a very good job. Good location. Air-conditioner units very good.

There are no quiet hours. The room next door had their tv on really loud at 1am. It could be heard down the hall not just in my adjoining room. I asked the front desk to get them to turn it down. The woman at the front desk lectured me about how all guests have the right to do what they want in their room. Terrible hotel for a nights rest, awesome hotel if you’re looking to host a rowdy party on a work night.

Rooms very dated and toilet stained badly. Overall didn’t feel very clean. Staff was pleasant.

This hotel looks like it is going out of business. Every aspect needed attention, grass was not cut, lobby was dingy, room had rough patches in the ceiling over the tub, 2nd floor had a bad odor, carpet was worn through, tile broken, i could go on…

The breakfast foods (rolls) did not appear fresh as they were dry and hard. Coffee was unavailable on the.2 days that we attempted to eat there. The fitness center did not have towels in them and the water jug was not hooked up so was unusable. We would not recommend this hotel to other travelers.

first of all, my son went into the bathroom, he was disgusted how it looked, dirty, yellow stain, faucet was leaking, even when we changed to the second room , the shower bar was off the wall, I am 64 years old, the floor was slippery, nothing to hold on
