Beachfront Palms Resort Galveston, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Rooms were dirty. Air conditioner leaked water on floor all night. Random pair of Underwear in stairway.

It was a great place, everyone was so nice and service was great! We stayed 3 nights and it was well worth it, we will stay here again

Great location, right across the street and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Hotel is a little dated and not the most updated, however the staff is friendly and approachable.

For the price I expected a clean basic room just to sleep, the floors had mud/dirt tracks, the sheets had old blood stains, the corners of the room where filthy, TP wasn’t replaced, they could do better, but I’m glad they had a somewhat of a cleaner backup room. Breakfast was pretty good, be prepared to make a line for the waffle maker machine. Parking does get tight in the evenings

The staff is Amazing!! Like everyone is very accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast is fantastic. The only downfall is this property is gross. I’m saying the stairs need to be power washed, they need better elevators, clean the smoking area and sanitize high touch areas. Overall I loved the location and staff

Everything is nearby! Room was a bit tight, but had a great view! The option to sign into Netflix on the TV was awesome! I wish more hotels had this! The 2$ charge daily for the safe we didn’t use was a bit annoying; supposedly easy to remove but it’s going to be inconvenient to get it removed.

The room was flooded and the manager never came to take care of the issue. We left.

Roaches was crawling in the room! Air conditioning makes noise! Long string hair inside the bathroom shower!

Nice foliage around the pool

I rate this hotel as ok. Breakfast was good and the room was clean when we arrived. My only complaint is that housekeeping will not touch your room if you are staying multiple days. I even asked them to come clean and replace used towels. After a few hours, returned to the room and it was the same. Went to the front desk to ask again and they said they had no housekeeping staff at the time. They did give me clean towels at the front desk though. I’d say, ok place for a couple nights, but I would not stay here longer than that.

Underground parking, plenty of choices on the breakfast bar, and it being right across from the beach. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

The picture on the website is not what we got! The rooms were muggy and moist. They had a bad smell. The tv didn’t work in one of the rooms. I pulled a Kleenex out of the box and you could tell they were just shoved in there and they were dirty. The corner of one of the beds was dirty. Motel 6 would’ve been a better choice at this point!! Never again!

Breakfast was awesome, staff was friendly, but the beds are very hard.

The place was ok. The main thing this place has going for it was the proximity to the beach. We didn’t use the pool but we did go to the beach and it was nice to go and hunt for shells and not have to walk a long way. The room was ok, the breakfast was nice. They had a hot breakfast every day not just the pastries but eggs and sausage and make your self waffles and biscuits and gravy and it tasted good.

The staff was helpful. The dining room, was dirty and there were roaches in the halls.
