La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Galveston North at I-45

Perfect location, great customer service, comfortable stay, accessible covered parking, good breakfast, clean room, etc! I will definitely stay here each time I visit the island.

Front desk staff, clean room, delicious breakfast, cruise parking The swimming pool lounge chairs were in terrible condition. The canvas material was torn so bad that they could not be used.

It was nice to have a room with two beds. I was glad the AC worked. Upon arrival, I stood at the front desk and waited for 15 minutes to be helped. When I checked in and went to my room, there was already people in my room. The breakfast was all gone when I went down and they still had over an hour left to serve breakfast.

We enjoyed the breakfast every single a/m and the pool was great for the kids. Great location, right off of the hwy. In between the beach and the shops Was "accidentally" put in a room with no a/c, it was 91 degrees outside. We had to move at 10pm because we were burning up! It also took about 45 min for check-in & we had to ask for trash take-out & towels DAILY

Parking was plenty. Convenient location. Decent continental breakfast. Room ac worked really well. Couldn’t find a front desk person to check out for about 15 minutes. I needed to turn in a rental car at 9 a.m. and it made us a little late. We weren’t charged a late fee for the late return so it all worked out, but that was a little frustrating at the time not being able to find anyone. Over all it was a pleasant enough stay.

Location Really everything else. Breakfast was really bad and the cleaning was almost non existent. We had to clean the bathroom because someone must have thrown up in it and no one cleaned it. The whole room smelled because of it. There were strange men sitting outside the elevators all times of the day watching everyone. The ladies behind the counter were very rude and upset when they had to assist. I don’t believe I will stay at a La Quinta again after this.

The staff at front desk were friendly and the hotel was pretty close to beach, stores, and restaurants. We had to move rooms after the nightstand fell off the wall shortly after check in. The full length mirror was cracked and the hotel cleaning was not kept very well. Our bathroom shower floor looked dirty and came with 3 shampoos, 1 body wash, and no conditioner. There were a lot of pieces of hair in the bathroom and on the furniture in the room, left cleaning rags and nasty/sticky carpets. The breakfast was pretty minimal and ran out quickly which resulted in lines waiting for refills and dining floors were extremely sticky.

I had to change room because the AC was not working it was very hot in the room and the second room was a little cooler but not cold but we stayed in the room because it was no more handicap rooms

Room was clean but the air conditioning barely kept the room even moderately cool and it wasn’t that hot outside. Breakfast was gross. Waiting about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the desk to check out.

Breakfast was dismal. Broken equipment, hardly any food was out.
