location was great and the staff very friendly no a/c

Breakfast was first rate. The room was clean and fairly comfortable. The location was excellent...literally right beside the bridge. If you're driving into Heidelberg, as we were, parking is a bit complicated. Unloading your car requires the staff to unlock a chain in front of the hotel and squeeze your car into an unloading area. Since the hotel does not have its own parking, you must park your car in a city parking lot. The hotel did give us a discount coupon for this and that was nice of them to do that. The biggest problem we had with the hotel was that the AC had not yet been turned on and so the room was warm. To ameliorate this we had to open the windows, but when we did that the street noise was very loud. It stayed this way until around 2am when the bars finally closed. Also, there is limited ice available.

Well located, intimate, nice staff, good breakfast options

Cute hotel with a clean room and comfortable bed. Location was also amazing, right by the bridge and the monkey statue. No complaints

Excellent view of the river, rooms a bit old but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great!
-
Excellent location next to the Old Bridge. Room was quiet, and bells from the nearby church only tolled between 7:00 and 22:00 (I think). Friendly staff at front desk, which was always staffed. Large room with hot water. Blackout curtains could have been better, and the mattresses were a bit stiff. Otherwise was nice!

The location was fantastic, the staff was very helpful and the breakfasts were very good.

Everything was wonderful!

I don't think you could find a more convenient location to stay whilst exploring Heidelberg. It is right across from the Old Bridge and close to restaurants and cafes. I also appreciated that they had an elevator. I am an early riser and would love to have had a kettle in the room for making tea or coffee.

Location also amazing. Right on the river, walkable to everything Breakfast was delicious, lots of assortment. Coffee was strong and hot. Place/style was very dated Lift was not working while we were there. We were on the 3rd floor. No ice available at this location at all. No in room coffee.

Did not eat the hotel breakfast. Would have enjoyed a coffee maker in our room.

The location was perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious with a view of the Old Bridge. Very dog-friendly as well! Our room was located right at the stairs next to the breakfast area. It was a bit noisy, especially in the morning

Beautiful views from our room to the river and old bridge. Gorgeous! Also liked that the bed split into two so our kids each had one twin bed instead of sharing a bed. Convenient breakfast. Loved the location and very walkable to everything. Some staff weren’t super friendly but most were.

breakfast was good, we only had it one day. Room temperature was very weird. not sure what was going on. heat was strange and was making us feel kind of sick. when we left the room, we felt better but after spending much time in the room, were feeling sick again. Sinus, sneeze, cough.... ???

This beautiful European style hotel was in a perfect location overlooking the river and walking bridge. Truly incredible views. We had 3 rooms, and each was a little different from the other. The mattresses were very comfortable. The showers are small, but this is typical of European hotels. The breakfast was lovely, with diverse offerings. They even had gluten-free bread which was appreciated. The restaurant staff was friendly and diligently worked to keep offerings refilled. The front room near the lobby was just incredible, like stepping into a grandmother's living room all decorated for Christmas. We wanted tea after a cold evening at the markets, and this hotel did not have tea kettles in the rooms. They did offer a tea/coffee service in the front lobby for a fee.

The hotel is conveniently located by shops and restaurants not to mention a few minutes walk to the cable car that takes you up to the castle. N/A
