Best Western Plus Ft Lauderdale Hollywood Airport Hotel

hard to get even toilet paper let alone towels. breakfsst ok but untidy and out of many basic items and dont refill. swimming pool under repair for years.

I love the place was very nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and they had everything ready for the peoples. Thank you . I Recommend you to stay

My only positive thing to say is great location

The breakfast Continental was good. The door key had to keep being reactivated. The staff was approachable.

The employees were rude, especially a housekeeping assistant (or a similar staff member). I had been approved for a late checkout, and even though I was getting ready to leave before that time, she came knocking on my door very aggressively. When I told her I had a late checkout and that there was no need to knock like that since she could see I was leaving the room, she insisted that no one gets a late checkout. (The conversation was in Spanish.) Later, when I returned my key at the front desk, I asked the receptionist in front of her to confirm my late checkout, and she agreed that I had one. The housekeeping employee simply responded, “Well, next time.” Very disappointing experience overall.

When we arrived the elevators were not working. We were told about the location of the stairs. We had a baby so we asked for the first floor. They accommodated. The morning breakfast was not adequate. The utensils were empty. The waffle mix was empty and no one working around to help. Breakfast that was there was fresh. Biggest issue was the bed. Mattress was comfortable but it sat on a platform. So when you sat down the mattress would move off the platform. (Not attached). Good location but probably wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel itself was okay, but the breakfast experience was disappointing. Several food items ran out, and when another guest asked if they would be refilled, the request was largely ignored. The serving trays remained empty for the rest of the breakfast period. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to guests or keeping the breakfast area stocked. Overall, the hotel was adequate, but based on our experience, I would choose a different hotel next time.

The room we got the tv didnt work so we went to tell them. He says we going to send someone wait 20 minutes. No one never came so we went back downstairs so he can change the room. He seemed upset when we said we laid in the bed already. Gives us a new room. Pillows are like pillows that should go on a couch. Bed felt moist and bathroom reeked of wet clothes thats been sitting for the longest. We slept on the towels to avoid growing through with changing rooms again. Even ran into another family that said they had ants on their bed. I stayed here before many times but this honestly fell off a lot. This was the worst hotel stay ever.

There was no indication on the booking that the pool was under construction. They were painting in the hallways in the middle of the day during our stay. They placed us on the 5th floor a few rooms down from our room and there were guests smoking weed in the hallway and the rooms were permeated. The staff was very kind. Breakfast was alright.

Customer service was great they switched my room 2 times and the 3rd room I left the next day and they refunded me my last 2 days.... property needs to updated/ upgraded and managed better, rooms smelled moldy, still have digital tvs where u could only get 2 channels the tv that wasn't digital the pic was dark, tvs outdated, microwave and refrigerator old, swimming pool was shut dwn.....especially for what they're charging

Overall this was a very good hotel, clean and convenient The room was clean but has mold in walls which gives bad odour all time and makes the room wet even the AC is off. It would be great if the hotel provide whole wheat bread in the breakfast. Coffee could have been better as it didn’t taste goods otherwise the hotel provide a good variety of options in the breakfast.

All of the above were great. However, I’d recommend that staff approaches each other with respect and refrains from being loud or rude. Guests may be taking notes.
