Great location. Loved the setup of the beds. Mattresses are so nice. I heard some complaining about the softness, but I went right to sleep.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Imari. The owner is kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The price was great, the location was very convenient, and the area was pretty quiet. What I appreciated the most was the small gym he has there. It was a great bonus for me!

It was a friendly guy and really quiet near the mountains and warm while it was freezing cold outside. I would come back everytime!

As others say: excellent location at city center, hostel-style no frills (comfortable mattress, capsule-style personal space). No security lockers, so keep valuables with you. Basic kitchen available. Two showers and three toilets Space for eating, reading, high speed wi-fi. Clean and well organized. Hostel life takes getting used to when you are used to private space.

Very warm welcome and comfortable beds

Close to the station, - the owner charged 1000 for check-in after 8 pm. CRAZY. - the room is hot as HELL. The owner only turns on the AC at night but the AC doesn’t work!! - bed was too soft, couldn’t sleep at all and had backache afterwards. - Imari is simply boring. I regret even traveling though Saga. Sad and boring prefecture.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is very good, with a well-equipped kitchen, and a nice area downstairs to relax or do some work. N/A

We cannot go in the guest house after 23h.
-
- have to pay even for small towel - the owner is always watching you what are you doing cuz sitting in the middle. - before check in you just meet the closed doors. - have to pay extra if you check in after 20:00 (never meet this condition before)

The owner does not care about the guests and absolutely does not want to talk (I am fluent in Japanese). This goes to the point that despite the fact that the livingroom was freezing and I had the jacket on, he refused to change the AC temperature without giving any explanation. If you look at other reviews, you will see other people complain about this. I caught a cold after that, which sucks. He just said 'no' after politely asking 3 times and had to suck it up. It was very weird, I absolutely felt not welcome. I wish I didn't book here. I was the only guest there during my 4 day stay except for one day, never saw anybody in the living. I would just go somewhere else, or at least wouldn't stay here more than one night.

The staff was nice and the bed was really comfortable. Was also possible to rent a bike.

Centrally located, there’s a kitchen and a lounge area to eat. Manager let me store my bicycle inside, which was way more secure, toilets on both floors Bit of traffic noise as the building is on a busy street but I slept fine :)
