Super 8 by Wyndham Indianapolis South

They charged a deposit and did not credit the full amount back. Still waiting for them to respond with a reason. I wasn’t event there 12 hours.

I wasn’t expecting a lot from the price but at the very least, was expecting a clean room. The hallways common areas weren’t kept the cleanest but again, initial expectations were low. Once I got to the room, looked pretty filthy as well. Dirt, Dead bugs, then live bugs. And not just bugs but roaches. The Expedia ad was also not consistent with the expectations of the property. A $100 deposit was needed and if you don’t have cash, you will be charged $5. The pet fee isn’t $10 as advertised either, it’s $20 and they put you in a “pet room” which clearly isn’t kept clean hence the roaches found. Luckily the staff onsite (a gentleman) helped me switch rooms quickly. And the new room was much cleaner although did have a lot Smoky smell to it. All in all, the experience wasn’t really a surprise for the price, but I was at least expecting the bare minimum. A clean room.

The road coming in to your place has holes in the road the size of moon craters . Got there in rain storm . Not familiar with area and blew out 2 tires and needed a town cost me 750 and a uber for the day

This place is an absolute dump filthy very very poorly maintained. Feels more like the local motel than it does. A hotel for travelers. Strongly do not recommend for anyone traveling through the area. There is a much nicer hotel for a few dollars more up the road that also has nice amenities around it. The rooms are in desperate need of work. The place is just run down and not maintained or cleaned

The room smelled horrible, I couldn’t sleep from the smell. Light shined through the whole door, I didn’t feel it was safely locked. The hall was tile flooring and I could hear every footstep from people walking by. I will never stay at a Super 8 again. You get what you pay for!

The only thing they had for breakfast was waffles or stale cereal.

The facility was old and ran down. The rooms were dirty.The bedsheets were barely on and ripped.The bathroom was dirty. It was just overall gross, very disappointed and a waste of money didn't even stay in the room

Nothing other than It was a place to sleep for a night. The clerk first tried to double charge me. And add a $50 deposit that there was nothing about when booking.Then the key card didn't work for the original room. The second room had dead roaches in it. The microwave was small and popped the breaker when trying to use it. The TV kept cutting out and couldn't watch anything.

However, THE HOTEL DOESNT HAVE AN ELEVATOR. ADA compliant...Hardly. Lobby was not air conditioned. 1970's (or Covid) glass across the front counter, so you had to lean down and talk under the glass. I demanded a refund. At this time I only see ONE of the two charges on my bill so I will have to ask my credit card company to intervene.

Reserved kind room, got 2 queen rooms. Was very noisy in halls n adjoining room.

A/C in room just blew air didnt actually cool the room. Mini fridge in the room frozen over. Kept drinks kind of cold and thats bout it. Hot water for bathroom sink didnt work.

I don’t normally leave reviews on things unless they’re bad enough to warn others, and this is certainly that. To start with cleanliness, there was little effort to clean the room before I arrived. Every corner had dirt and grime, there was a significant hole in the carpet, most walls had seen repeated abuse followed by quick patches, and the bed sheets were stained. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and rentals, but this place was certainly the lowest quality.

I do not recommend it at all. The entire hotel smelled terrible—since they allow pets, it reeked of dog—and the room they gave me smelled like something dead. The fridge was noisy, too.

Crawled out of the ice machine while I was filling my cup. After I found the one in my room I left.

I don’t expect much from cheap hotels because I’m a reasonable guy and understand you get what you pay for… this was still lower than my lowest reasonable expectations. I was told the hot water was out and that it would be “lukewarm”… it was ICE COLD. The AC also didn’t work. Staff was reasonably nice though, but one of my worst stays ever for sure.

Very accommodating, friendly staff and felt safe!

Would not refund any of my $ as I had prepaid for 2 nites . What a dump. Run dont walk away
