Gold-Diggers Hotel

Rooms are quirky fun. Well designed. Fab bed, pillows, linens. Super fun to be in the list for show downstairs- sold out - and a great event where we discovered a great new band. Love the layout of sitting room, separated from bedroom, plus having vinyl to play. Having to walk up 2 flights of stairs. Simply never expected it - and freshly out of knee surgery. It was brutal. Super sketchy entrance. And the parking is forever away, plus not that secure.

Such a lovely setup hotel room, really unique and music-focused. Really premium and well fit out. However, people should really be aware that you are above a very very loud music venue. It wasn't clear on Hotels.com. I'm not talking a bit of soft music, it's drums and guitars crashing till 2am, bed shaking. With ear plugs and everything, you could SEE the music. Stuff was shaking. I've seen other reviews flag this, and the owners respond saying they make it clear its above a music venue, but who is this hotel for? It's so loud till 2am, i don't fully understand where the idea for putting hotel rooms there came from. It's the loudest hotel room I've stayed in! aha Again though, really well made up. So if you want a nice place, reasonable price, good location close to things, but really really really love very loud music / are deaf / dont intend to sleep till 2am - then this hotel is for you.

Parking was easy but it was a block away. No parking in front to check in. neighborhood was a little seedy.

Important to note there is no elevator and they do play music in the bar downstairs. It was done around 10pm the night I was there but I did hear it from my room - but that is kinda the point of the music theme I guess. Otherwise a lovely experience. Room was very cute and staff was helpful.

Impeccable attention to design detail and room amenities. The music venue downstairs is so cool, great music... all the vibes. Loved that the rooms feel like an apartment because of their unique lay out, didn't feel like a hotel.

Great staff, gorgeous and spacious clean rooms. Bartenders at the downstairs venue are really generous with what you get for the provided drink ticket!

Superb

Excellent attention to detail; the room was well appointed and loved the map of recommended places to eat. The bed was super comfortable and the little book explaining the property and location was a great touch. Also loved the ability to send a text and get a response. Three things that were less than desirable: 1.) The noise from the music at night; despite wearing ear plugs and having the noise machine on full tilt, the room was basically vibrating from the bass. 2.) Super nice touch having records in the room but there wasn't a needle in the record player. 3.) The location of the parking lot.

This hotel is such a wonderful find! I’m absolutely delighted with the room, the service, and the overall experience. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and it shows how much care went into creating this place. You truly impressed me and won me over. I felt extremely comfortable, cozy, and inspired by the aesthetic. The vinyl selection was a special treat! I will definitely be coming back.

Gold Digger’s Hotel: cozy room, comfy bed, everything clean, super equipped, TV with amazing sound, staff super friendly and replies immediately to messages, free coffee and common area, in the upper level the music sound is not too loud. Location was a bit scary: many people living on the street and far from the main tourist points (but well connected by bus). There is no cleaning of the room during the stay (beds not made, towels not changed, toilet paper not replenished).

Dropping off luggage wasn’t easy to park in front. Streets are well… LA. However the parking lot a little down the street was so nice. Room was so cute and cozy. The noise level was NOT as bad as I had assumed with a DJ playing in the lounge.
