There were occasionally homeless people near the hotel entrance, which was a bit uncomfortable. Also, housekeeping is only provided upon request, so be aware that your room may not be cleaned unless you ask for it.

good location and room size. Room needs a chair. smell of room is a little musty and old or moist. However, those are the only negatives. the room is larger than most in Hollywood. Lobby big.

Room service was quick and reasonably priced. The pool and adjacent patio had great views. A two block walk to a metro stop for an @20 minute ride to DTLA.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and many restaurants, shops, and attractions. It was a perfect base for exploring Hollywood and Los Angeles. The room was very comfortable and quiet. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the Hollywood Sign from the room. The facilities were well maintained, and everything was clean and in excellent condition. The only thing that would have made the stay even better would be having breakfast included in the rate.

There wasn’t a coffee maker in our hotel room. It took over 30 minutes to get seated and order a coffee from the cafe on the first floor in the morning. Slow service and very expensive. The hotel is located on a dirty street littered with trash and it smells of urine.

The no dog fee/no dog weight limit is so great! I wish more hotels did that!! Overall a great stay. The pup and I were very happy. I also got a really nice view of the Hollywood sign from my room.

Clean room. Staffing was excellent and helpful. Very friendly. Cute hotel. Free coffee and tea in the morning. Social hour was great. Wish I had the breakfast

Staff were amazing and extremely helpful and attentive. Cafe/restaurant served great food and had great service. The pool and outdoor area was fantastic. Great views of suburbs of LA and surrounds All in all, I would definately recommend for a family.

Everything was great overall. The only constructive feedback I have is regarding a maintenance issue we experienced with our room. Our toilet became clogged, and it took over two hours for someone to come and address it. Given the price of the rooms and the level of service expected, I believe a response time of 30–45 minutes would have been more appropriate. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience.

We would like to thank the housekeeping team for the orderliness and cleanliness of the hotel. However, we were not satisfied with the overall operation and management of the property. First of all, the central air conditioning vents in the room have accumulated so much dust that it is not only visible but has reached a level that may pose a health risk. Dust particles were coming out of the vents into the room. In addition, the carpet and its color scheme do not make guests feel that they are staying in a clean room. We believe the carpets should be replaced during renovation and upgraded to parquet or other hard flooring surfaces. We were also disappointed by the bedding arrangement. We could not determine whether this was due to a lack of proper duvet covers or simply a matter of convenience, but it appeared that two sheets had been wrapped around a blanket. This was uncomfortable both from a usability and hygiene perspective. In a hotel of this category, we would have expected a more modern and professional bedding setup. Regarding breakfast, we paid an additional fee during the reservation process because the room was advertised as including breakfast. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that breakfast operated on an à la carte basis, that guests received a USD 15 credit per room, and that any amount exceeding USD 15 would be charged separately. Since even a coffee on the breakfast menu exceeded USD 15, it is difficult to understand how this can genuinely be described as “breakfast included.” Furthermore, this policy was not clearly disclosed either on the hotel’s website or during the booking process. As a result, we felt misled. We paid extra for a breakfast package but ultimately left without having breakfast. When we raised this concern with the reception staff, we were simply told, “This is our policy.” No effort was made to provide a solution or address our dissatisfaction. The management team appeared indifferent and uninterested in resolving the issue. Considering today’s technology and guest expectations, access to a shared computer remains an important service for many travelers.

Nice staff, room has everything it needs. there was blood stains on the lamp shade. also all the doors on the closet in front of the fridge could use WD40 it's so loud. Valet is also a bit overpriced

I have stayed at Kimpton properties before that are well maintained. This hotel is trying to be a Kimpton, but not there yet at all. Our room was the color of a prison call. The ceiling looks like something out of a prison as well. The furniture has knicks and dings. Therw were fingerprints on the walls. There is no Wi-Fi TV. We tried to get Netflix working and you can only cast it from your phone with the device the hotel provides. We waited a half hour for someone to come and install this device so we could watch Netflix. Ridiculous! I asked for some money to be taken off of our stay. They only took off their silly resort fee. I will never stay here again!
