Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Southland-Matteson

The hotel was clean the employees was friendly but the front desk didn’t know that the rooms are cleaned every other day and the morning I was going to check out I had to ask for clean towels but everything else was too

My husband, myself and our 10 month old stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. I liked that it had a mini fridge and microwave so we could store our drinks and heat our food. The continental breakfast was decent. The usual cereal, waffles, toast, fruit, coffee juice etc. I would have liked some bacon on the menu or little sausages. Maybe they change up the menu weekly not sure. But thats what was available when we were there. We would stay there again, however the price could have been more reasonable per night. It was pretty expensive in CDN dollars.

All the colors I liked them

I liked that the location was in my old neighborhood and very familiar. Nice being close to the expressway too. The floor in the bathroom very sticky...glad it was my shoes sticking and not my feet. Also the room carpet wasn't very clean, but everything else was nice though still I don't think it was worth almost $250/night!

Beautiful property, well maintained. Decent breakfast of Eggs with cheese and sausage both mornings. Beers were $10 a piece from the convenience center, but Walmart+ delivers there without an issue.

It was good. The batter for waffle did taste good to me (berry flavor one) the only problem is the syrup had no flavor to it. Loved the country potatoes and family members love the omelettes. See above for both questions.

Disappointing

Proximity to stores, restaurants Hotel is pet friendly. Guest allowed dogs to come and sniff you. Also wonder about how the hotel cleans a room after a pet has stayed there. Is there deep cleaning because some people are allergic to dogs

Room was really clean staff greeted and helped with every need breakfast was hot and fresh will definitely be choosing to stay here again

If you want an outta of the way place to stay then this is it. Clean quiet & accessible. Don't have to worry about your vehicle as you sleep.

It was close enough for the event that I was attending and it also had restaurants and stores in the area.

Only downer was at checkout staff member was having a FaceTime conversation while checking me out. Small thing but I did not have her attention so it felt odd.
