La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Memphis I-240

This hotel is very nice it my to go hotel away from home .I get the King Suites and it’s very big and has two TVs in the room .I lay in the king bed and my son pulls out the layout couch and it’s had a small kitchen area …big bathroom and the breakfast was very good sausage eggs and hash brown cereal muffin oatmeal and coffee …The pool was nice wasn’t crowded …feel very safe the hotel is gated in …,

Our stay was WONDERFUL the hotel was clean and smelled good breakfast was on point everyday they had so much to choose from the front desk staff was so nice the day we were check out the lady at the desk came to play with my youngest while we fixed breakfast to go

The room was clean with one remote for two televisions. The cleaning staff use the same elevator as the guests. That was terrible because they loaded the elevator and the guests had to wait for the next. Which by the way was super super slow between only 3 floors. SMH It was an ok stay, I wouldn't choose this hotel again though.

When they say breakfast they MEAN breakfast they did not forget a thing. The wings if you order room service leaves something to be desired but EVERYTHING is TOP of THE LINE

Nice to place to stay a few days, but not for long term. The coffee maker was broken and breakfast was less to be desired. Pool was cold, and ball to play table tennis was missing. Partying going on while we were there on 1st floor.

The hotel has no smoking signs everywhere and yet our room smelled like a straight cigarette. We told the staff and they sprayed something in the room to cover the smell but it did nothing. While attempting to take my kids to the pool, the staff came in, noticed teenagers climbing on tables and jumping into the pool and with squirt guns spraying everyone and said nothing. We tried to let the kids have fun but without anyone willing to help maintain rules, they didn’t matter, and my kids were unable to enjoy their time unfortunately.

The room was great. I had a dog with me and was double charged for the incidental fee. I was reassured that it would be back in my account in 2-4 hours. It was not. I called to ask about it and the woman that answered was really rude. I was told to call my bank so I did and they didn't have any record of a refund. I called the hotel back and was told the manager would call. They never did, I understand mistakes happen but it was handled extremely poorly on their end. $100 is already a steep incidental hold but to double charge me, lie, and treat me like I'm the problem was crazy to me.

Room was clean and nice. But the breakfast was not stocked well the whole stay. Convenient to get around and secure.

Room was very large. Sitting area has one TV. Bedroom area has another. Water pressure was good but hot water took a while to heat up. Nice ks bed.

Nice staff. Clean lobby. Gated car parking. Pool. Complimentary breakfast. I picked this hotel because they said (online & when I called to confirm) that they had an EV charge. None of them were working. Funny smell in the elevator. Bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. AC & fridge made weird noises. Living area had exactly 1 chair in it.

Exceptional

Size of room. Modern and clean. Noisy traffi. We were facing interstate and dodnt get great sleep. As mentioned in reviews the sink is in the most strange place far away from the actual shower and toilet.

I was very pleasantly surprised by our stay. I didn't know what to expect but the rooms were spacious and it had a groovy vibe. Pets were welcome! We didn't get the correct information for breakfast timing and we missed breakfast.

Staff is not trustworthy. My wife accidentally left her wedding rings in there, just like any other person could do, and once we got back to get them, which was only an hour after leaving the hotel, they had claimed that they weren't in the room. Management was unhelpful in the situation and and didn't even seem to care. Don't recommend for anyone to stay here.

The room was exceptionally clean and the bed super comfy. The only complaint would be the condition and cleanliness of the interior of the building and common areas. The building could use a refresh. I appreciate the secure parking area.

Clean, safe, easy check in, and good breakfast

My room set-up for working remotely was very convenient. Large enough work table to accommodate a laptop and an external monitor, enough outlets, adequate lighting and a very comfortable chair which actually was adjustable (a rarity in hotels these days-they are usually stuck in a low position and cannot be raised!) The bed was extremely comfortable with soft linens. Liked the bedside reading lights. The temperature control was easy and kept the room at an even temperature. The dining room was comfortable, functional and attractive. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Secure parking was a big draw for me. While the room was spacious, comfortable and attractive, I found it very odd to have the sink just inside the room from the corridor, about 15 feet from the actual bathroom, which was around a corner! Very inconvenient. If the sink was at least adjacent to the actual bathroom, it might have been easier. Enjoyed the sitting area, but again it was across from the sink? Odd. The lack of a light next to the luggage rack which was below the wall mounted TV was also very inconvenient, especially for a senior as it was way too dark at that end of the room. Made it difficult to see inside my opened suitcase and items on the floor. I would suggest at least a floor lamp in that corner. The fact that there did not seem to be an outlet in the toilet/tub room for mw to plug in my nightlight was-a safety issue for sure. My biggest complaint with all hotels these days is that most want to create nice looking bathrooms which is lovely but have an element of impracticality to them-places to hang towels to dry are virtually non existent. Hotels want to be as green as possible, and ask you to reuse towels, which I promote, however, they make it difficult by not having an appropriate number of bars upon which to dry out one's towels. Overall, I found the hotel comfortable and clean with lovely staff. Just my opinion, but all hotel chains should enlist the opinions of seniors in the practical and safe layout of rooms!! I would definitely stay here again as the issues I mentioned were not enough to deter my return.
