    Clean room smells a little musty cause of humidity but overall clean

    If I could give this property zero stars, I would. The moment we entered the room, we were hit with a strong moldy, musty odor. The air felt damp and heavy, and although there was a dehumidifier running, it was ineffective. As we unpacked, we found small German cockroaches in the closet, dresser drawers, and bathroom. After a long flight, all we wanted was to rest, but the sheets, blankets, and pillows all felt damp, making the room uncomfortable and uninhabitable.We immediately contacted the hotel, but were told no one was available to assist us until the following day. No one followed up, and we had to reach out again ourselves. We were then informed that both the owner and manager were on vacation and unavailable. We had booked a 4-night stay but checked out after the first night because the conditions were unacceptable. Even after notifying the hotel at checkout, we were again told no one could help us. When we finally spoke with the manager on the last day of our vacation, he admitted the property had been fumigated for cockroaches the previous day and acknowledged receiving multiple complaints from other guests. He told us we would receive a full refund, but after that conversation, all communication stopped despite multiple calls and messages. We are now paying for a stay we could not use. To make matters worse, we later learned the first floor had recently flooded, which likely contributed to the damp conditions and poor air quality. I would strongly avoid it here

    Although the customer service was excellent, I firmly believe I should receive some form of compensation. This was a birthday trip, and we did not get the third floor as promised prior to our arrival. There were large cockroaches throughout the hotel; one was in the elevator, another by the door separating our room from the lobby, and yet another at our door. Additionally, there were more outside along the side of the hotel as we walked up the rail. I reported this to the hotel, and while they did clean it, there were still more roaches, which was utterly disgusting. The shower soap caddy was filthy and appeared to be moldy or something similar. I informed them, and housekeeping came, but she only cleaned the bathroom and the room, not the caddy. Furthermore, the smell in the hallway leading to our room was nauseating; my clothes absorbed that odor, and I had to wash EVERYTHING as soon as I got home. It was terrible. The lamp was dirty, the curtains had stains, and the floor felt damp for some reason. Overall, it was incredibly disappointing, and we deserve a refund because those three days were extremely difficult, and we tried to spend most of our time outside.

    There is no hotel staff, they only have maintenance men. The only help you get will be from the app you booked on. Honestly the whole hotel smelled like mildew, they have humidifiers in every room because of the smell, but it doesn’t work. There’s roaches in the hotel, but you won’t see them for long because the staff cleans them for the downstairs restaurant. I will say that the restaurant downstairs is the best amenity. They have pretty good food but they are packed so you better reserve your seat, and they close at 5pm. There is free parking from 3am-9am, but honestly there isn’t any parking in Miami Beach so be prepared for that. I will say that if the hotel didn’t smell so bad then it wouldn’t be a bad place to stay, they have a decent view and it’s a 5 minute walk from the beach. So I give them a solid 2 stars.

    The room was not cleaned properly. There were not enough towels. The room felt humid even with the A/C at full blast. The bathroom window didn't close properly. There was only one small garbage pail in the bathroom (nothing in the rest of the room), and garbage placed outside the door just sat there uncollected. The hallways smelled so strongly if pit that I felt a little lightheaded getting from the elevator to the room. Oh. And you have to choose between water pressure and hot water in the shower. You can't have both. The beds were comfy, but I wouldn't stay there again.

    I like the fact that it was right next to the cafe and it was convenient to the beach. First of all I didn’t think it was safe no one was at the front desk after 4:00pm you have people in the hallway hanging out anyone can enter the building. Secondly the cafe is on the same floor as my room so I had all the food smells and the flies in my rooms . Third you have to ask for someone to clean up the rooms no supplies is given you have to go back to the front desk for soaps or towels if you needed. And the rooms smells like wet dog . I think the rooms should be clean every day not on the request of the customer. And it’s advertise as a rooftop but when you get to the rooftop, there’s no chairs for you to sit. It’s just an empty space.

    Great location at mid beach! Hotel is located between the beach and a canal and has plenty of restaurants and conveniences right there. Excellent brunch restaurant on site. There's a code to unlock the door so people can't walk in and same for the actual rooms. No room key to get lost!
