Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Miamisburg Dayton South

I booked this trip through Expedia and paid for it beforehand. The hotel ended up triple charging me the deposit (which I ended up getting back.) But they also charged me for the stay as well. Ive emailed and submitted screenshots of the double payments, bank statements, etc, and still have not gotten my refund. This was in April, and its now end of June. Will never stay here again. Be weary booking this place through Expedia. First time Ive ever had this issue, so Im thankful. But still disappointed in their lack of resolve.

Our hotel room was beautiful, it came with a stove, refrigerator , dishwasher and a microwave. The beds were so comfortable and everything was so clean. I would for sure stay there again.

This hotel was excellent for the things that really matter to me when staying away from home. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Sam! I stayed in two different rooms during my four nights and both rooms were very clean (newly remodeled) and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The only thing keeping me from giving a five star review was the breakfast. If the breakfast provided does not matter to you, then I promise you will love everything else about your stay!

The room is very nice Some of the doors were outdated and the pool was not open

Both days we went to breakfast and there was basically no food left. The halls and elevator were not very clean and our room smelled like someone had smoked in it.

We were in town for a graduation, the hotel is under construction so the pool and exercise room were closed, I loved the room with the fridge, microwave, dishwasher and 2 burners! I loved the no carpet in the rooms. The hot breakfast was great even without the meat. If I had to add to the hotel; I would add a laundry room, some meat to the breakfast, different bed frames (Quiet) and an ashtray outside for us smokers, my biggest pet peeve is to see butts on the ground. Trash Cans were available sadly there are some smokers on this earth that have no smoking etiquette. The morning and night female clerks were amazing! I enjoyed my stay and would happily stay again...can't wait to see the finished remodel.

The only thing that I didn't like was the breakfast. They should have a breakfast buffet or hot breakfast.

Sam was very helpful during checkin. I was struggling with some on-line booking and she took the time to help me figure out my issues and get checked in.

Location and it was up to date.

Clean, everything in our room seemed new. The other guests on the 3rd floor were pretty loud at times.

The location was good. Property was clean. They are still finishing up renovations. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was when we got to our room we realized the door wouldn't lock but we were quickly moved to a new room with out any issues.

The elevator had issues, there were no cups in the room and some power outlest did not work

The staff were very friendly. The room and beds were confortable. They need a chair in the room though. The kitchen was clean and new. The hotel was very convenient to all events and shopping. First, the tv did not come on. I had to go to the desk to get batteries for the remote. TV worked after rep;acing the batteries. We went for the breakfast at 7;30 am. There was no coffee, no meat, no fruit and the refrigerator was empty. Finally coffee was brought out but the lids for the coffee cups on the counter did not fit. We had to search in the cabinet underneath and found the right size cups. They finally brought out the link sausage for breakfast but the meat was very cold, The fruit and refrigerated items were not replaced. The next morning we ate at the restaurant next door.

The hotel has pictures that don't represent the condition of the actual property. It's in a run down area. Somw rooms are remodeled, somw aren't. The staff charged my card 3 times for one stay!!! I had to contact my bank to cancel the charge on one card. I ended up paying with another card. It was too late to change hotels due to the plans I had scheduled! Terrible experience!

Nothing Noisy rooms, cold coffee, no pancake batter, no bacon, metal bed platforms clanged all night in other rooms, crappy tv guide, no cups in bathroom, room not clean

The hotel must have been newly renovated.. everything was very clean

Hotel seems to be in process of updating or possible new ownership. Rooms were clean and flooring was good. Breakfast was sparse and not restocked in last hour; it was also missing typical items like salt, pepper, ketchup, lids for coffee cups.

It was a clean facility Staff didn’t know how to do anything. I had to wait multiple times for one person to help and that person wasn’t on site. I was promised a discount for all my troubles but never received it.
