Holiday Inn Express Naperville by IHG

Hotel wasn't clean to my expectations. There was a plumbing odor. The halls hadn't been vacuumed. The elevator hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. The fitness center hadn't been mopped nor the bathroom floor of our room. There were red stains on the carpet. The fridge was dirty. There was hair around the bathroom shower and all the walls were dirty. The fire alarm went off at 2am and everyone had to go outside. The firemen couldn't determine what set off the alarm. The front desk staff was nice. The breakfast was good. The hotel was quiet and peaceful overall.

The iron was missing

Breakfast had a huge variety of options - and free all day Excellent coffee . The “ snack pantry “ was affordable and well appointed . My only recommendation: White Monster . I’ll be back .

Was a great one nighter! Slept well

Room was large and clean. Beds wer comfortable. Had both "firm" and "soft" pillows but they all felt the same. Breakfast was good, would be nice if they had real oatmeal instead of the instant kind. hotel was very full during our stay and at times it was a little difficult finding a parking spot. Shower has a large rainfall type shower head but the water pressure isn't really that great. It's nice that the sink is outside of the toilet/shower area.

Had an enjoyable stay. Room was quiet and had easy access to all amenities and parking. Great location with many restaurant choices nearby.

Multiple entry points from parking and coffee 24/7 All good

24/7 coffee in lobby. Houskeeping was spot on during our 4 night stay. Buffet breakfast was nice. Parking was right next to entrances. Cleanliness of common areas: elevator floors and walls, hard floors in lobby hall.

Being by a major highway you couldn’t hear the noise.

Nice hotel and excellent breakfast

Breakfast was also good. No complimentary water at check in, and lobby store is very expensive. The room was spacious and comfortable. The tub had no mat and only one vertical grab bar, so was risky for me. The pool was a disappointment for me. I use the pool as therapy for my bad legs. I can't use a ladder, need steps to get in/out. So we might stay again for short stay but not longer ones at the holidays.

In addition to a clean hotel, nice room, friendly staff, easy and safe parking, the best part was the location. Within a short walk to a variety of excellent yet reasonably priced restaurants (not fast food places, although you could order for take-out). Also was easy to get to hotel off a major highway, yet far enough from the highway and busy roads to be quiet and feel very safe.

They gave us a free upgrade, which we were happy about! The room was clean, but dated.

Some of the carpeted areas could use replacement. The bath room lighting was not bright for shaving. Especially when one is older and requires more light. The shower coukd use some support bars for stability. The AC was very cold which is truly appreciated, however, I was unable to raise the room temp. Perhaps I did not know the mechanics to adjust the temp. Overall stay was otherwise Excellent and the breakfast bar was very satisfactory especially the coffee brand and the fresh ground coffee in each cup. Thank you

Excellent breakfast and clean room.

That I was double charged. Was told the pending transaction of the second payment will go back on my card. We'll it didnt and now the management is saying they don't have nothing in there system stating that I paid twice but it show on my card transactions . Then we wanted to check out early and tried to tell us that there was a balance on 200 when I paid 478 for 2 nights. And wanted me to pay 200 on top of the 478. I wouldn't not recommend this place at all. They will screw you over on money !!!

The hotel was nice and the staff was helpful and friendly. Our bed sheets were ripped and the pool was very cold.
