there was a fee of $40 per night that was not disclosed at check in but collected upon check out and the staff could not tell me what the fee was for accept to say it's a really popular location.

Other than that, the room had a very nice view of Times Square as advertised. We stayed on the 50th floor and they even let us check in a few hours early since the room was ready. There was a pair of socks left over from the previous guest but they did try to correct that by bringing more towels and water bottles for the inconvenience. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the hotel. I’d probably stay again.
