Property in poor condition. Water cold by 10:00 AM

Good things: nice breakfast, with clean seating, and a waffle maker, and plenty of other food. The room was spacious and clean when we arrived. Negative: Cleaning service, to our surprise, was only available upon request, as we checked in late the night before and didn’t have time to read the strange notification that service was only provided upon special request. After finding that the room wasn’t clean the first night, we requested and received service for the next day. Two days later, we had requested service again, but it was not done. Upon informing them, for clean towels, they asked us to bring the towels down to the lobby to be replaced, rather than coming up to the room to get them. Then on our last night, the ice machine was beeping loudly. When I called, they just said maintenance would be coming, but the maintenance guy would not come that day. After complaining again, the icemaker was finally unplugged by someone.

The step in tub showers in this hotel are from the 1960s I think. The water wouldn't work in our shower. They didn't know how to fix it so they gave us the keys to another room to use the shower. So we had to walk down the hall to shower and then walk back to our room after we showered. Extremely inconvenient, yet no offer was ever made to compensate us in any way for the inconvenience. Greedy, greedy owners.

Very clean room and comfortable beds. Very convenient to I-77 exit near Football Hall of Fame. Pool was clean, but it seemed the heat was on the the pool patio room. That said, it made the water feel even more comfortable. We would stay again.
