Staff were very friendly. The weekday early evening front desk clerk who checked us in would wave everytime we came in. Hannah the bartender was great. Every meal we had in the restaurant was good but esp breakfast. Id recommend the Farmers bowl.

Very close to The Orpheum and very comfortable beds!!

i was very disappointed in our check in. they advertised a 17 minute walk to the ball field. upon check-in i asked for a map showing us a walking route. the man at the desk said “ it’s about a 27 minute walk, traced a line on a map and said it’s in this general direction”. i asked about the numerous construction sites and road closures in the areas. he said they have been going on about a year. my concern was that the map would require adjustments due to closures and sidewalks being closed. i was told that gives you the general direction you will need to adjust. i told him i felt they misrepresented the actual walk in an attempt to bait people into staying there instead of closer to ballpark as there were many other options i would have booked if the truth had been known at the time of booking. i have asked for an adjustment to our overall bill due to the above and need to pay additional fees to park closer etc. to this date i have not received a response. i expected better customer service for the quality of facility they advertised. Buyer beware!

Spectacular hotel!! Made our trip exceptional! Would definitely stay here if we ever go back! Great easy walk to lots of restaurants as well!

The room that I had, had mold in the shower. The shears that covered the windows were torn though it was hard to see. The hallway from my room to the elevator had a coffee spill that was there for 3 days. The bar drink I ordered was quite expensive but didn’t have alcohol in it. Not the experience I wanted but everything was full due to the baseball tournament. Just about a 4 on a scale of 1-10.

Location was good. Also, the restaurant located in the same building, although not part of the hotel , was very good (great waitress serving breakfast)

This is a lovely hotel in an interesting old building that’s been repurposed and reinvigorated. So many of the original architectural touches remain, lending the place tons of character. It’s really quite charming. Staff were helpful, and the restaurant/bar was quite nice. The location is also terrific… very close to the Old Market District. And it’s so reasonably priced!

Superb

Room was large, and clean. Front desk person was very nice and helpful. Bar downstairs was nice and served us even though it was real close to closing. Nothing
-
Unique property, clean, staff was great however the construction in the area and the inconsistent restaurant hours took away from the overall stay. Recommend the hotel. Older but not dated. This is a building that is on the National Registry of Historic Buildings.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Beds are wonderful and the location was perfect for the College World Series. We have stayed here for the CWS for 18 years and we can see that the hotel is aging. There is little to no water pressure in the shower. The windows are filthy. Most of the trim needs paint. I expected more for the rate charged. We will try another place next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia. It was a quaint old style hotel. The staff was pleasant and we were close enough to the College World Series baseball field.

Staff was incredibly helpful and gave great restraint suggestions.

Love the charm.

We had an excellent time at the Magnolia hotel. It was such a cool setting, very helpful staff, and fun extras like milk and cookies in the lobby. It was very walkable to the Old market, which we also enjoyed.

Very nice! Great bed. Only stayed one night. Would definitely stay again.
