Mai Hana Hotel & Suites

Location was extremely poor, all tourists & low class restaurants. The bathroom was not clean with a line of scum oil around the tub. I called reception for bleach cleaner. TV did not work, Toilet did not flush. We only stayed 1 night. The pool area was filthy.

Room was clean, staff were nice, breakfast was good, A/C was good but after being in the pool then going back to the room my grandkids were cold so I turned the heat on and must’ve had dust in it because it smelled like the room was on fire. I immediately turn the heat off and it was fine. I would have to say the only thing I had a complaint about was there were only 2 towels for 4 people and no washcloths when we got in the room. I asked at the front desk for more and was told they were all out and couldn’t guarantee that they would have any in the morning. I also asked for some towels for the pool (again all 4 of us were going swimming), there was only 1 towel and again couldn’t guarantee when they would have any more. The next day my daughter asked for a pool towel and only 1 was available again.

Room was exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was on the noisy side but other than that no complaints or issues. Check in was easy, check out was a breeze and overall I’m pleased with my stay at Mai Hana.

Breakfast was not tasty at all. The eggs were not good.

The staff were one of the highlights of my stay friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any requests or questions. Their professionalism really added to the overall experience. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety to start the day, although expanding the options a bit (especially for dietary preferences) would make it even better. The dining area was clean and well-organized. The air conditioning worked efficiently, which was especially important given the warm weather. It kept the room at a comfortable temperature without being too loud. What I really liked and found unique about the property was its peaceful atmosphere and convenient location it was easy to get around and yet still felt quiet and relaxing. The design and layout also gave it a cozy feel that stood out compared to more generic hotels. On the downside, there were a few minor things that could be improved. The breakfast variety, as mentioned, could be better, and there were small maintenance details in the room that could use attention. Nothing major, but worth noting for future improvements. Overall, I would recommend this property to other travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. With a few small enhancements, it could easily be an excellent expe

Our sheets were damp and needed to get new ones. The staff was really nice and helpful though.

The Mai Hana hotel is a Japanese style hotel with clean efficient style rooms that has double beds not queen size. So, be mindful of that. The king room suite has a pull out queen size sofa bed which is only three inches of thickness. I forgot to take photos of it. Though, it is not comfortable, because it is a three sectioned memory foam mattress attached to the metal frame, and if you on the heavy side, you are not going to like it. The bathroom is really clean, but in our room the shower water took around a minute to start getting hot. But, they do have the body wash and shampoo dispenser in the shower. The toilet may be a little low for some, but does the job. In the king suite, there only one AC unit which is in the master bedroom, which cools the whole suite. The breakfast is pretty decent, but was missing waffles as sown in the photos, and they only serve pork meat, for those who don't eat it. But, they do have plenty of options and their microwaves heat very fast. That staff members are very helpful and glad to be there working at their job. The people at the front desk are very helpful and inviting for your stay. I haven't used the pool, but it looked clean from what I saw and the mini golf course is just two holes in a 15' by 15' space. I do like that the hotel is close to literally everything on International Drive and Sand Lake Rd.

It was ok for 1 night being we only stayed overnight headed to Disney the next day. I felt like I was in a low budget motel instead of hotel for sure. The manager was very nice but there was a restaurant/bar room next door that would allow their guests to park at the hotel which made it inconvenient to park at night and loud from the crowd

Lampshades were dirty. Bathroom is dirty and bugs are in the room.

Very nice and worth place

The rooms are not modern and gives a motel/budget hotel aesthetic. It was also very musty and dark. The air conditioning worked really well. The staff was helpful when I asked about the shuttle and to switch rooms upon check in. The breakfast was the basic continental breakfast but was hot. The location and shuttle service are the major perks to staying at this hotel. The hotel is located on international drive and within walking distance of major hotels and attractions such as Ripley’s and Icon Park. It is also located very close to bus and trolley stops. The shuttle to the theme parks were first come first serve but I had no issues getting a space.

Everything was exactly as described. The staff is wonderful. Every single one. However, one of the front desk personnel went above and beyond. She helped my family and I out so much during our stay. Christina, I will never forget the kindness you showed. You went above and beyond customer service. Thank you!

Tell the staff be more professional. I honestly should of been refunded for atleast half of the stay
