TownePlace Suites by Marriott Orlando at SeaWorld

Everything was very good and property has always been nice when we stay. The only issue I found is that they are now charging extra if you want a room facing Seaworld. I always requested a room facing the park as my kids love to open the blinds and see the roller coasters, however, we were told these rooms had now an extra charge per day. We stayed in a different room this time and it was fine, but don’t know why they changed the policy and are charging extra for this rooms. If it was mentioned in the website prior to booking we’d have considered it. Overall everything was fine.

I enjoyed that it was in close proximity to everything we needed. Parks, food, stores, etc. Great staff and nice rooms!

The property was excellant and in great location. The breakfast however was not. It was all pre-fab nothing freshly cooked. Seemed all fake to me. Except the waffles and the breads.

The negatives: The pool was not maintained. There was scummy bubbles and the water was cloudy. We were there 2 nights and food residue remained on the ground the whole time. The bar/food area was still subpar (we have stayed at this location a few times and this has not changed at all!) Apparently the bartender also prepares the food because when a order is placed the bartender disappears until the food comes out. This was sometimes 30+ minutes. The food seems like microwaved from frozen items.

The rooms were clean, large mini suites with a fridge and range. Great for keeping drinks cold. Although the kitchen has a coffee maker and other cooking items we didn't make breakfast in the room as the included breakfast was great. It has 3 waffle makers so, two egg stations and various breakfast meats, oatmeal with various add ons like nuts and berries. Everything you need to a full packed breakfast. And the coffee was terrific. Very rich and strong with different milks and creams to select from. No need for Starbucks, but if you want your SB, you can just walk a few steps and it's less than a minute from the hotel. Parking is $20 a night, but there's a free shuttle to Seaworld and Seaworld parking is $35 so not bad trade. The gym is also large with decent selection of weights and treads. I would def go back when going to Seaworld or any of the other parks in the area. As for dinner options, there are lots of chains to select from on International Drive. We did Carrabas and Bahama Breeze and both were excellent choices. Stay away from TGIF next to the hotel. We had to walk out. That chain needs help.

This was our second time at this hotel. It was clean. The staff were very nice and friendly. It was great having a full kitchen. I would hardly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. We plan on going back in the next couple of months.

Everything was in tip top shape. Always willing to help and get whatever is being asked for.

I reserved a king bed; they put is in two double queens. The hotel smells and they don’t tell you they charge for parking until after you leave. I had no idea when I checked in and got double charged on my credit card and they wouldn’t reimburse me. Told me to just call my bank and dispute the charge that way. Never again.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly!

The pool and lounge area was nice, with a bar area. It is very convenient to the Sea World family of attractions. We'd stay there again for sure!

Overall experience was very, very good.

PERFECT LOCATION, rooms spacious and clean, friendly staff.

Breakfast was alright, my room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly, but they moved me to another room. My second room was cleaned better and needed bathtub cleaned. They cleaned right away for me. The air conditioner was on when I arrived, which I thought was great since it was hot outside. Staff were polite, front desk women was helpful and checked to see if everything was good. Pool was a bonus and they offered free shuttle to and from discovery cove. Walls are thin, Neighbors were annoying. Could hear everything.

Air conditioner did not work great. Our room was really warm although we had the AC set on 60. Breakfast was not good.

It was very convenient with location! Shuttles were nice & on time! Beautiful area!
