Universal’s Loews Portofino Bay Hotel

Awesome stay! Room was beautiful and the property had everything! I took off a star because they charge like 30 bucks for a cot and everything was so expensive. The staff were great and so helpful. I would stay again for the unlimited fast passes if we go back to Universal some day. Also, being able to check our bags and pick up the passes to go to the park early before our check in time was great!

Beautiful hotel, very competent staff and very clean inside and out. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! You definitely get what you pay for.

Loved staying here, however the pool with the beach sand was extremely dirty, there was hair, beach sand, particles everywhere in the water. We couldn’t stay in there for long because of how disgusted we were. They should really switch this up or at least clean it more often. The rooms were clean, the hotel itself was wonderful. Staff was okay, could have been more helpful. But overall loved our experience. I’d say it’s very family friendly. We’ve stayed at Loews pacific and would choose this hotel over them for cleanliness.

Really handy location, close night to City Walk and the town older parks, whilst far enough away to feel away from the action. Will be back again.

Very nice rooms and staff is very helpful if u needed anything. Just wish the walls weren't so thin. Could hear everything going on in the halls. Otherwise great hotel would recommend!

We had a great time, my husband, kids and I. Very peaceful safe clean and accessible. I higly recommend this hotel. Great food options. We loved it completely.

Amazing experience, easy to get and from the studios!

We were pleasantly surprised to hear our room was ready at 7:30 am (which felt almost unheard of!). Since we were heading straight to the parks, we decided to check it out later. In hindsight, the early readiness was a bit of a red flag, especially considering the hotel staff checking us in had said the hotel was fully sold out the night before. Unfortunately, the room didn’t seem to be cleaned very thoroughly. There was hair in the tub, small bits of garbage left behind, and the towels had visible makeup stains. It was a bit disappointing after such a great first impression and coming from such a high cost hotel stay

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in Orlando. The staff are great and the rooms are beautiful. We’ve managed to get a bay view room each time we’ve stayed and I would highly recommend

Great transportation to and from Universal and Island of Adventures.

Our room was clean and spacious. The resort was so pretty and transportation to and from the Universal parks was very efficient. It was difficult to get from the lobby to our room. We had to go down a flight of stairs (elevator) then to another building and up an elevator and down a long hallway.

Loved our stay! Easy access to the Universal parks as well as fabulous on-site restaurants and bars. So much fun!
