Courtyard Phoenix Downtown

Stayed overnight to attend D-backs games. Room was perfect, clean, easy walk to stadium, and they held our bags and kept car parked next day after checkout and until game was over.

Rooms and hallways were super clean and smelled nice, comfy beds, nice helpful staff. Amazing hotel I would stay again!

Very good experience and stay! No issues and loved how close this was to the convention center and other places!

That it’s close to everything It smelled like paint, the pool wasn’t open, there was only one elevator working, a lot of broken items throughout the hotel

Hotel clean..across the street from the arena. Walking distance from a lot of restaurants.

valet only parking was expensive, but there was public parking very close that saved us $15/day.

The room was spacious and comfortable. There’s a lot of surface space and I loved the large window. Everything was fairly clean. The location is perfect if you’re going to Chase field. There are tons of restaurants and bars in walking distance but the true gem is the bar on the 4th floor of the hotel, Little Rituals. Staff there is outstanding as well as their drinks. (They are not employed by the hotel) The rail system has stops a block away making it an easy and cheap alternative to get to and from the airport.

It was a fine stay except the room smelled really strongly of sweat and body odor as soon as we walked in the first night and all of the other nights. The bathtub did not work either, it was constantly draining and we couldn’t use it for baths. It was a huge let down since my mom really wanted to use the bathtub.

First room was dirty, and sheets dirty. staff gave us a new room. Construction was loud and gave a dirty feel.

Side note they had a major water issue affecting elevators but was communicated ahead of time and they offered to let you out of your reservation. So the property wasn't in tiptop shape but it didn't affect our stay and we had a wonderful weekend.

The room was beautiful and bed was comfortable, for the time I was able to sleep. It’s undergoing an extensive renovation. Only 1 of 3 elevators was working and it took 5-10 minutes to get it to stop on my floor. The location is also in a less desirable neighborhood. Construction workers were starting at 7 am and they weren’t quiet. Asking staff for another room on another floor was met with “they are working on every floor and moving throughout the building. I ended up checking out early and booking a different hotel.

The room was so clean and comfortable, staff was extremely helpful, and kids loved the pool!

I liked that it was close in proximity of the venue we were going to. I only gave this star a 1 due to the proximity of the venue, but the rest was awful. The mattresses and pillows are the most uncomfortable we ever experienced. They need to do less renovating in the halls and more investing into the mattresses and pillows, seriously. There was one large towel in the bathroom. The elevators broke during our stay and when they were “working” they literally took over 5 minutes to get to you. We ended up getting very familiar with the stairs to get around the hotel. The staff was very stiff, especially in the hotel bar on the 4th floor. The hostess at the bar was very rude and had she spent more time have basic manners and less attitude maybe she’d gotten the order correct on our overpriced food. I would never stay here again.

Parking is absolutely horendous here. Nothing on site but there is parking around the corner. Do it yourself instead of paying the ridiculous cost to valet
