Beautiful and historic place to stay
-
It’s beautiful and very charming. Feels like you’re in Spain . Love it here 💗

Beautiful quaint boutique hotel with lots of character. We upgraded our room because the double rooms are a bit small.

The spa and how friendly the staff was!
-
everything from the beautiful landscaping to the wonderful water features! The architecture, all of the antiques, the old original style of the buildings, the lighting. Every detail in this place is wonderful and well cared for. there was nothing that I didn’t like

Beautiful grounds

This resort was truly a gem!!! They have filled every corner of this property with the most beautiful landscaping. We spent our entire weekend relaxing by the pool, at the spa, enjoying wonderful breakfasts at T. Cooks and just taking in all the beauty with so many places to sit and relax. We will definitely be back.

Would be nice to have sauna available as a guest vs only being allowed to use if you purchase a spa treatment.

The exterior of the resort and staff were amazing. However the rooms need to be updated. The maids did a wonderful job of cleaning and changing the bed. However l was disappointed since the rooms and hallways needed to be seriously updated. The carpets and the furniture in the rooms were falling apart. The hallway and carpet in the section l stayed reminded me of a 2 or 3 star hotel while l paid for a 5 star resort hotel. The hotel needs a major renovation and its sad that the outside area really reminds me of Italy and France. However the rooms were a shocking embrassement. The maids and staff were exceptional. I feel that the corporation owned boutique should be the jewel of the phoenix metro area with its location. I'm sure that management knows improvements need to be made. The rooms and hallways need to be seriously updated. The furniture in the rooms do not belong in a 5 start resort. I would be greatly surprised if the majority of your guests did not feel the same way.

Superb

I like the traditional Spanish style, making it both indulgent and comfortable. They put me in a room that I hadn’t booked and when I requested the room I had confirmed, it felt awkward. They kindly offered to pay for a couple of drinks but they were still on the bill at the end. Making me feel awkward to re raise the issue.

One of the most wonderful stays my husband and I have ever had! The staff was wonderful! David and Taylor especially so. It is our thirtieth anniversary and they treated us like a king and queen! The rooms are so luxurious and the amenities were top notch! We will be back !!!

Great, upscale hotel/ dining/ spa experience in a beautiful setting right in the heart of the Phoenix metro area. Pricy but worth it. Although we did not bring our dog, it is pet-friendly.
-
Comforting rustic charm. Tranquility. Location, location, location. The management staff was tremendous. Special thanks to Taylor. As a gym buff, I’m not as enticed by rustic gyms as I am by rustic decor in rooms.

It was such a relaxing stay. People were friendly, the grounds were beautiful.

Resort is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately my entire travel party became ill (no fault of resort), and couldn’t take full advantage of the amenities.
