Large and comfortable room. Great location and a very clean property.

Very nice area and room Beds were too firm for comfort in comparison to other hotels we stayed at.

The pull out bed was super uncomfortable and pretty flimsy. Not made for adults, I’m sure kids wouldn’t mind though.

I paid booking.com for my stay. I am also being charged by the hotel. Waiting for refund.

Didn’t eat. No issues

The breakfast items were constantly empty all 3 mornings. I asked for more and they said they ran out. It was only 8am paying $8 for breakfast is ridiculous. should be included at that price point. no microwave available is inconvenient. Pillows are hard

They charged twice the rate, in my own credit card, considering that i hv already paid thru Booking.com, and to make contact with them, holy shit, it was a nightmare

We had a great one-night stay at Hyatt Place Reno with our kids and were very pleased with the experience. The location was excellent and especially convenient for our trip, as it was very close to Mt. Rose, where we had come to ski. The neighborhood also felt very nice and upscale, with plenty of good shops and restaurants nearby - including a movie theater and an Apple store! The property itself felt modern, very well maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with nice touches that made it feel polished and welcoming. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the overall stay was easy and relaxing for our family. We also found the parking convenient, even though it was paid. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were especially friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we would happily stay here again. There was nothing we didn't like

Convenient location. Comfortable rooms Nothing

The location was great for my stay. It’s next to a shopping center but is a bit uphill so it feels separate. There are several fast-food restaurants and nicer dining restaurants all within walking distance. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The parking can be a bit challenging on weekends. The spaces are sized for cars and when there are pickup trucks parked, it can be a bit of a tight squeeze. But this is a minor issue.

They charge for parking and you have to pay extra for breakfast.

We have stayed here several times and really like the location, new condition of the property, cleanliness, service by all the staff, the price, and the breakfast. This is the 3rd visit on which we've had a problem getting hot water in the shower. This has happened in 3 different rooms and at different times of day. On this stay it took a full 7 MINUTES of running the shower to get the temperature from ice cold to barely warm enough to get in. This was at 8 PM when water use is low in the hotel overall (the checkout clerk suggested it was just a morning problem and I had to correct her.) This is not just inconvenient but a tremendous waste of water which is a precious resource. This is obviously an ongoing problem at this hotel that needs to be addressed!

Design, and ambiance. Charging extra for parking at a suburban/rural hotel is absurd.

The parking lot was not plowed at the hotel. Once you left the hotel parking area the rest of the parking lot in the large shopping area was wonderfully plowed. It was so slippery and unsafe by the hotel. DO BETTER!!

The staff at front desk was unprofessional and inappropriate handling of the matter. Hyatt Place Reno’s failure to honor a confirmed, prepaid reservation on January 17, 2026. The accommodation was paid in full The staff at front desk was unprofessional and inappropriate handling of the matter. This matter was brought to the attention of the current General Manager, Mr. Diefenthaler, via email and addressed multiple times over the phone, yet no resolution. Upon arrival at approximately 5:00 PM on January 17, the front desk clerk, Maria, located and verbally confirmed my reservation in the hotel system under my last name. I was then informed that the room had been given away to Hyatt loyalty members because I was not a member, despite the reservation being confirmed and fully prepaid through Booking.com. The clerk stated the hotel was overbooked and acknowledged this was a “mistake on the hotel side.” Issues: Unprofessional Conduct Documentation and Billing Issues
