The pool, the amazing buffet breakfast; everything you could want and more. Also, a bat to order food fresh, with a wide selection and smoothies and juices of your choice. The room was comfortable and we had a view of the pool. Lots of places to sit and relax. Free water and a gym. The location was perfect for our gig in Lapa and our run the next morning. The smoking area could be away from the entrance to the restaurant and by the poolside rooms. Perhaps round the corner.

It's beautiful and charming. Good breakfast. Reasonable price for what you get. I never used it, but the swimming pool could be open after 6pm. Dinner quality and options could be better
-
Very clean. Breakfast was good The area outside is a little shady with lots of beggars
-
The area it was located wasn’t the cleanest. The neighborhood had a lot of homelessness and trash on the ground.

There was some ants in my bed when I woke up.

Best location & property in Lapa

The location suited my needs well, as I chose the hotel for its proximity to the film festival venues where I was participating. The room was very spacious, and the bed was large and comfortable. The staff were generally kind and helpful. The breakfast appeared to offer good options for guests without dietary restrictions. :-) BUILDING: The building felt quite dark, as the corridor lights were weak and motion-activated and there was not always enough illumination. In the evening, walking to the room felt uncomfortable at times. ROOM: My room was in the newer building, where renovations were taking place on the lower floor. There was a significant amount of white construction dust from the renovation work, which had spread throughout the building. Although my room had been cleaned, white dust marks were still visible afterward. One pair of black shoes became covered in dust from walking through the corridor to the elevator and could not be restored, so I had to throw them away. Other shoes I was able to clean. The bathroom felt dated, and the toilet was slightly loose. BREAKFAST: I informed the hotel in advance that I required a gluten-free breakfast. They said there was a section for these cases. Upon arrival, staff showed me a gluten-free cake and some very dry, broken bread slices. The same cake was offered on three of the four days of my stay. On the second day, I happened to overhear another guest asking for tapioca, and only then realized other options might be available. I was not informed of this beforehand, and I could not find any à la carte menu. The breakfast food was transported in food charriots from one building (the renovation one) to the restaurant... :-( LOCATION: The location was convenient during the day. At night, however, it felt less comfortable, and I would recommend taking an Uber back to the hotel. PRICE / VALUE: The price charged for four nights was far too high considering that I was staying in a building affected by ongoing renovation work.

The location.

The pool and grounds were very nice. Staff was very good. The shower was very good. The rooms were clean but very basic. No hair dryer, no face clothes and the towels were very small.

Location is awful
-
The only thing I didn't like is there were small ants in my bathroom and somehow mosquitoes kept getting in my room at night.

The staff was amazing, everyone was super nice and helpful, specially at the reception desk. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was flexible allowing us to check-out later and also keep using the pool and some other facilities (like spa showers) after the check-out. The location isn’t amazing. Very central, but very sketchy. But most of all, the breakfast was very very chaotic, not that many options, some things took over an hour to get refilled and the pineapple juice was the worst I ever had in my life, super watery. All the juices were bad tbh. Tapiocas and cuscuz also took forever to get done.

I booked a 1 Collection Superior Preserved Apartment and when I got there the bedroom was small, dark and outdated - the TV was not smart for example. We ordered room service but the pizza seemed frozen from the supermarket and when we went for breakfast, well before the end there was no plates, eggs, bread and so on/ The swimming pool was indeed the high point of the stay plus the location was also great. The staff was friendly but not quite flexible when asked for late check out.

Room was spacious, breakfast was great and staff were helpful. Not a major issue, but it would have been nice if my room had a kettle and bottled water were provided daily.

Very accommodating on Early Check in Locatiom . Centro abit sketchy

Swimming pool Reception, check in is chaotic and lengthy

We loved the grounds, especially the pool and surrounding area. The breakfast buffet was good and the breakfast room was comfortable. The fitness room was good. The excellent cleanliness of the hotel stood out. We didn’t like the Neighbourhood. Soon as we went outside of the hotel for a walk during the afternoon, people descended on us and harassed us. We quickly learned not to venture out of the hotel on our own, except by Uber.
