The hotel is in a good location. It was quiet and seemed safe. The front desk staff was polite and friendly. There was a basic coffee bar setup in the foyer. The outside and interior public spaces were clean and organized. Note: The hotel does NOT have an elevator! The room was a nice size with comfortable beds, but the pillows were thin and stiff. Cleanliness of the room was lacking. The mattress covers had quite a few stains, but they did seem like they had been washed. The bathroom sink/faucet/counter didn't appear to be freshly cleaned. I wiped those down myself. The floor had builit up dirt in the corners. The worst area was the surround around the tub walls. The edge between the two pieces was gross with black mold. I didn't use the tub/shower at all during my stay. With about 5 minutes of effort and a good black mold cleaner, the room would have been satisfactory. I would not stay in this hotel again unless I knew the lack of cleanliness had been properly addressed. Therefore, I cannot recommend it.

Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The room was neat and clean. The water pressure in the shower was strong and felt good. It was also pet friendly which was helpful. The only downside was that the pet area was on a hill making it difficult for dogs to relieve themselves.

This property was easy to check in, lots of parking, convenience to town and city of Roanoke 21min. Its cheap. Has free ice. Beverage machines for $. Free coffee in entry area I didn'ttry. Staff are fine. No elevator to 2nd, 3rd fl. My first level room was a musty kind of smell. In room there is ac/ heat unit, louder than Id expect. Runs constantly even on energy mode to keep room cool 74 to 76 got it cooler. Not cold. Surfaces were dirty, like black dusty. I had to wipe up all surfaces asap. Quiet except for the Wings restaurant next door, Sat pm music.

No blankets and the floors needed to be vacuumed was fairly dirty.

Broken glass on the table, the pillows were uncomfortable. My bed had a mattress cover, that was not completely over it because it was small, one sheet, and a thin blanket.

Ac kept room cool but property is dirty.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Cigarette holes in the sheets, cigarette ashes on the counter, unhelpful staff

It’s close to the highway. It’s not clean and not well maintained. The room has hair on the tub and toilet with pee marks on it. Bed sheets are not clean with hair all over it. It’s not clean!

Smell,noise,need updates

Ac worked fine. Staff was very helpful and even changed our room on request. Property is dated. Breakfast have limited options

It was OK. Good value!

The bed was comfortable There was no working smoke detector. It smelled like air freshener covering up odors from dog. There was no soap bars to wash your hands. Bath tub was filthy.

Had to change rooms. 1st room TV wasn't working. 2nd room they gave someone else the same room. Was laying in bed and they opened the door.

Okay for the stay not to good on food variety for breakfast

It was cheap and conveniently located. All manor of noise, traffic, train, other guests, bathroom fan from adjacent rooms, stomping the floor above me. Mold in the bathroom.

The not handicapped entrance. There is a lip to the ramp and then the sidewalks slants up to the door. The door opens out without a handicapped button. Coming out is awkward also. You get the downward slant and have to go right to use the ramp. Not friendly for a wheelchair or walker.

Good location. Noise travels well here. Traffic, Trains, next unit talking, stomping on the ceiling, bathroom fans from other rooms. Etc.
