This hotel is WAYYY outdated and the entire 4th floor was FILTHY. The room was in complete shambles with peeling wallpaper, gross smells, trash left in the room, the entire floor smelled like pee. The TV had multiple channels that were 'Audio Only' and we were told by the front desk agent that the whole hotel was that way! The pool and hot tub are not like the photo at all. People were smoking out there and the hot tub kept turning off. The staff were kind and friendly, but not in the slightest bit helpful. And the homeless population around and right outside of the hotel was absolutely out of control! It is less than a mile from the Riverwalk, but do yourself a favor and pay the extra to stay downtown. The 100$ less per night is not worth it. (I never leave bad reviews. I am just generally very disappointed in this place.) Also, there is a bar right next door that plays music all night with flashing lights outside. Sleeping was not easy. And you have to pay for parking as well! 2/10 recommend.

I think breakfast was really good. Variety not all eggs. Rooms clean. Can't think anything bad.

The breakfast, location. Nice room. One of the two elevators were broken and the only ice machine is on the 1st floor, rhe other ice machines on the guest floor were broken. The room was dark, does not have ceilings lights. We stay in handicap room, but the tub was deep and slippery, so not.safe for someone who cant steady themselves on the tub.
-
The staff was awesome Could have given us clean towels and could have informed us more of hotel once we arrived on different things
-
The staff were very helpful and polite. The location is not bad. Close to the Alamo area but not recommended to walk around at night. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are nice and clean. Not much parking, we had to continue to park under a bridge and it’s full of homeless people. Not very nice or safe.

Over all it was not bad. We only dealt with the night management guy with red beard and he very nice and personable. The 3rd floor and room had strange smell that was almost ammonia smell. The rooms wallpaper was peeling in several spots and the carpet did have a iron burn spot. The bed and everything else seem fine. If you need to stay in this area it was not bad and we felt safe.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff was great. The breakfast was perfect. Older hotel but still had lots of charm. Would definitely recommend.
-
Availability and cleanliness. A little longer walk than what I expected, but still convenient. Was charges twice for the room, but hotel was very prompt in refunding the extra charge.
-
Sofa bed was broken and we didn't realize until bedtime so one of the kids had to sleep on the floor
-
Did like that you had to pay for parking I believe that she be included with the room Charging for parking should be included with room
