E-Z 8 Motel Old Town

Overall the stay was fine. The room was sparse but clean and the bed was comfortable. The reason for the poor rating happened my second night there. I booked online for two nights (a Friday and Saturday), and at around 10:45pm on Saturday evening as I was sleeping the security guard pounded on my door, waking me up and saying he needed to see my ID because there wasn't supposed to be anyone in the room. Once he saw me and recognized me (from when I checked in the night before) he expressed frustration at the other staff, but it was still a deeply disruptive experience. I never got an explanation or an apology from the motel, which was disappointing. I would not stay here again.

Wreaked of smoke had a bronchitis attack after being in the room for 5 minutes. Went to front desk they refused to give me money back. I told the I could not stay. They charged me for the second day as well. Even talked to manager. Room was filthy, furniture broken, carved on not maintained. Beds horrible, pillows horrible. Would rather sleep in my car! People were yelling at each other did not feel safe. Horrible . Worse hotel room I’ve ever been in.

know some cleaning was attempted. We will not stay there again.

When I asked for another blanket I was told that you didn't give out extra blankets

A great hotel to stay in while visiting attraction very close enough and you don’t get lost..

You get what you pay for. Spiders in bathroom. Dirty room when check in. A/C unit made a loud non stop noise. The motel is under the freeway and next to the public train, so it is noisy. No daily housekeeping.

Our air conditioner wasn’t working. When we tried to call the front office we realized that neither was the phone and some of the electrical outlets. We arrived late and were only staying for one night so we dealt with it. They do not provide any toiletries or coffee (even though the photo in the website shows coffee in the lobby). It was clean enough although dated, and the area wasn’t the best. I won’t stay here again.

The location is great for me I paid too highly for this room which I had booked the day I rented it so maybe I could've got a better deal if I'd booked in advance. It's fairly expensive with no microwave but I did appreciate the refrigerator. I tried to book one more day when I checked in at the office but the woman working in the office said NO, I'd have to book it online. Was unhappy about that. The lighting in my room was so dim I had to keep my curtains open.

The bathroom faucet for the shower was not working. I was not able to take a shower.

Great location. The room smelled like cigarettes and pee. The door barely closed. No smoke detector, almost everything was damaged or broken. Lots of homeless in the parking lot using ice machine as shower.

Only the noise of the train passing nearby, everything else is great
