There were a few shared bathrooms and shower rooms for so many units on one floor. They are cleaning every day but still people are making those dirty so quickly. Some people didn’t even flush water. Some people didn’t wear clothes to go to restrooms. Such a hostel vibe. Just be aware of that 2. Space is very tight. One room is for one person. We were two unfortunately and there was not enough space to open our luggages. Definitely no place to sit and rest. Its a room with a bed. Very tight. 3. They have their app replacing the physical keys and while we were traveling around, we were always concerned about having no battery to open all the doors. We bought an extra battery for this reason. Just letting you know before you book. 4. Always homeless people on the street, in front of the hotel door. Of course, they don’t bother you much, but there were always more than 5 people near the main door, and hundreds, literally hundreds of homeless people some blocks away from the hotel. Make sure to come back early or be with a group.

Checking process was smooth Neighborhood is extremely sketchy with a lot of drug addicts in vicinity. this is literally the worst part of SF. and the whole hotel had terrible smell, it stank terribly and the staff didn't do anything to change that, it was literally unlivable there

I loved my stay, the staff was super helpful (cleaning staff.) It was a decently sized room with a bay window and such a cute aesthetic. I was able to reach out to customer service easily, and had very few issues. The proximity to Dolores park and being able to uber everywhere was also a plus. Only downside is the drug abuse happening on the street but that’s pretty much every downtown.

The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I liked how easy it was to check in and out of the property. I also liked the complimentary tea and the cute courtyard outside. There is no housekeeping after 3 so it gets pretty messy after that time. I decided to skip the shower when I got back for the night because it was obvious the communal shower had in no way been serviced for hours. The same dirty laundry that was there when I left in the late afternoon was there when we came back pretty later at night. There were instructions on how to keep the shower clean on the wall, but no laundry basket and not even a little disinfectant to wipe things down after each use. The hallways were also dirty at the end of the the night. I was not aware of how bad that area is with people who stay up all night hanging out on the street. It was impossible to sleep thru the night because there was people outside screaming and dragging things loudly on the pavement all day and all night.

absolutely terrible and i have a high tolerance. the room was filthy and hot and the people outside literally kept us up the entire night.

Even worse, the app to get into the building kept breaking, and half the time they don't answer the phone, so you're just stranded on the the street. When I did finally talk to someone, he kept telling me I was doing something wrong, which I wasn't. When he finally got it to work, I asked him "how do we keep this from happening again" and his response was "I don't know man, that's above my pay". You will get stranded in an incredibly unsafe part of town, locked out of your hotel on the streets at midnight with no one to help you. RUN!!!!

Decent clean place. Good value. Rough neighborhood. Didn’t feel dangerous, just gross.

Feels like a college dorm but clean, comfortable and great location. Shared bathrooms are a bummer but there are multiple stalls so I never waited for the bathroom.

The properties shared bathrooms were always clean and surprisingly never too busy, I was able to shower and use the restroom whenever I needed to. The rooms were small, but if you’re planning to do something most of your days it isn’t too bad. One of my friends said she liked it enough to stay again. I read about the homeless in some of the other reviews, I did not think too much of it until we arrived. If you have children I wouldn’t stay here. Walking down the street we had homeless trying to argue with us. Always veer left when coming out the front door, never right, huge difference. The rooms carpets and drapes were visably dirty, with god knows what. Our room was very warm at nigh, we’d wake up sweating in our sleep.
