Holiday Inn San Jose - Silicon Valley by IHG

The room was very strong cigar odor we had to open the window to vent the air also they charged for parking and that wasn’t clarify in the reservation too expensive $440 for 2 nights never again

I had to take an uber to the airport because there wasn’t enough room for everyone in the shuttle. The breakfast selection was very poor for the price paid.

Charge for parking and breakfast $$$ 22 per person on wed side said for free , parking never was mentioned until I booked.

Room 532 , the bathroom door keep getting stuck , it is almost like you have to use your shoulder to open it . No housekeeping unless you ask for it . Very noisy doors, woke me up multiple times at night because think it was the adjacent rooms door , felt like someone was trying to enter my room .

Parking was $15, which was not clear until after I booked the hotel. Location was convenient to the airport. People were nice. Parking lot has a gate around it. The place is dated, although recently remodeled. They just didn’t update everything. The bedroom had no light switches near the door. You need to walk around the dark hotel room to turn on a light.

housekeeping didnt come second day but it is ok

Room was not cleaned and no coffee for the coffee maker.

Staff is always so polite Nothing to complain about

Room is quite big, location is great, staff is helpful. Coffee machine was not working.

Staff was polite and profession, and this may not matter to some, but the water pressure in the shower was fantastic! Always a plus!

Clean Overall, great place

Liz the front desk receptionist not helpful at all.. promised airport shuttle after being requested arrived only 45 min later for a 5 min ride to hotel.

Terrible experience. I was put in a room right next to the road and dealt with loud traffic noise all night. When I asked the front desk if I could switch to a quieter room, the staff member was incredibly rude to me. I can't believe they even charge money for a room in that condition. Would not recommend

Decent rooms for the price and has a very nice bar and pool area. Front desk can be a little more friendly but overall our stay was great. Would book here again!

The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is that it was clean. Staff weren’t particularly friendly and it’s an old hotel. It is also an event venue and there was a loud event we could hear most of the night. The parking is also paid and that on top of an overpriced room. There are no notable amenities and no noteworthy restaurants nearby. No complimentary breakfast. Felt nickel and dimed. Also please note that water came out at scalding temperatures at high pressure. Hot water with good pressure is usually a plus but this was near hazardous.

nothing pathetic lady on reception, still waiting for my refund of security money, bugs and flies in the room.

Superb

The elevator was broken down and someone was inside the elevator. I was unaware of the parking fee. I see now that it is on there but it was so tiny that I was unaware that it was there. They kept 100 dollar deposit which I didn't know was going to happy so my husband and I could not buy any merch at Great America because we couldn't afford it. I will not be going back.
