Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Downtown Lake Union

When asked how much parking was they told me 40$. I just received my receipt in my email and they charge you a 10$ parking tax. How can you add a 10 $ tax to a 40 $ charge and not even say anything about it. Hotel was fine but this rubs me the wrong way . This alone makes me not want to stay at a Marriott property again .

When booking through expedia I would avoid including the parking and the breakfast. I included those items when booking through Expedia and I was still being charged for those items daily. It was a hassle having to notify the staff every day that I had pre paid for breakfast and parking through Expedia. The breakfast was not so great either. The location of the hotel is close to some attractions but not too many food options nearby.

Hotel staff was super friendly! Breakfast and dinner at the Bistro were good. Room was comfortable - didn't have any shampoo, conditioner or body wash in the shower on day one and had to call to get some. Hotel is walking distance to many places such as the Space Needle, MOPOP & even Pike Market. One of the elevators was under maintenance and the stairs weren't easily accessible to the main lobby.

Even though the staff was very busy, they patiently answered all of our questions and made us feel valued as guests. The entire experience was excellent—from the outstanding customer service to the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seattle. If I return in the future, I will definitely stay here again.

That view!! Excellent. The breakfast could’ve been better, just not much of a choice. I thought we were going to get a buffet style breakfast. The shower door wouldn’t close all the ay, but the floor didn’t get wet. I think all bathrooms should have an exhaust fan and a scrub brush. Other than those things I had a great stay and will stay there again.

Hotel was great!

If you stay only 2 nights you have to request house keeping to clean your room and change towels, not a big deal if you are a solo traveler, but with children, parking is expensive so pay ahead 25 upfront, is better than 45 per day. The menu on the restaurant is limited but what they offer is well made and have many options around the hotel. My only complain was that they were working on one of the elevators and was noisy, luckily my room was far away from the elevators

Big rooms. Great views (if you choose that room). Really really nice gym! Great stay. Would stay again

Parking mice

We were there for 4 days and they did room service only once. When they did they only made up one of the two beds, did not take away any dirty towels and left us only one new towel. Also, the hotel is very noisy

No microwave in the room. Room was small. Restaurant had little selection

Very clean with a great fitness center and friendly staff.

Airport shuttle -> complimentary was very convenient.

Overall good stay!

The value is pretty low for the cost; no breakfast, no happy hour, etc. And then $50 each night for parking!!! That’s insane!
