Location is great. Within walking distance to the main square and train/bus stops. Staff is extremely welcoming and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable but also if you have any issues.

Location and Angela was very welcoming. She was helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and in assisting us in getting around the city and calling places on our behalf. Breakfast not included

Great location
-
Location was the beat and Claudio was fabulous host. The mattress was old and soft. There is a family that lives upstairs, which I was not aware of and I am a light sleeper so could hear them walking, talking, scooting chairs, yelling at their kid but, by 10 pm all was quite till around 7 am.

Our airline changed our flight so we had to leave a day earlier than planned.

It is a lovely, small property with friendly staff who spoke English. The location is excellent, a 2 minute walk to the main square. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was quiet. The room was quite small and there was no views.

The location is great! The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the antique style - it reminded me of my grandmother's house. The rooms on the first floor are really close to the reception and when they are on speaker phone (which was a lot on the few days I was there), you can't even nap in the afternoon without hearing long conversations. Be aware that there is a flight of stairs to the reception with no ramp or elevator. And mosquitoes on the balcony - they got me pretty bad on the first day when I decided to have dinner there.

The location is excellent and the woman who cleaned each day was wonderful and responsive. Seemed like she had access to the owner-operators of needed, bit If it wasn’t for her help when we saw her in the mornings the rating would be a 5. La Magnolia is like an Airbnb apartment. The reviews did not mention that there is nobody present at the reception. In fact, the reviews were very complimentary to Caudio’s help with everything. We never met Caudio. There was only a phone number posted at the desk to call if we needed anything. The check-in area had uncomfortable tables and chairs and a coffee maker. Therehad been reviews mentioning breakfast but there was not any breakfast. The room had a nice veranda, but the rooms with verandas are at the ground level and neighbors came by regularly making things a bit less private. Their dogs would occasionally bark very early in the morning. All-in-all, if you want an apartment with local residents in close quarters, but close to all the action and shopping downtown, this is a great choice. If you want a place to enjoy late mornings, privacy, and extra comforts, this is not the place.

Warm welcome from Claudio, clean and comfortable room. Very central location to visit the historical centre of Sorrento and access the beach and ferry docks. N/A

It was convenient to the city center. The AC didn’t work well at the first night, but the staff got it fixed.

Location was amazing ! Furnishings were historical in basis. Nice security. Host was very informative and kind. Room was very small with little space for luggage . Shower wasn't big enough for my husband and the shower head was more suited for an everyone than a hotel. There was no coffee available even tho there was a tea kettle. Tv was located on the desk which I couldn't see from the bed with my husband in bed.

Loved Claudio he's an excellent host. Room was clean and comfortable. The lighting is the bathroom was fantastic! The location was excellent for being close but just barely off the crazy busy area. We had a room with a terrace that was lovely to sit out and relax with coffee in the morning and read in the late afternoon. Claudio had great suggestions and could get us into the restaurant and beach in short notice. I'd stay here again. Not a bother for us but for most US people room is small and so is the shower. But as expected

On Main Street so can be a little noisy however I am a light sleeper. I believe there are other rooms in same building that are not on the main drag.

location was great. we walked from the train station with no issues. access to shops, restaurants, the boat slip was great!! and the little winery shop next door was a bonus. will stay again!

Claudio was amazing. He was the best host we have ever experienced. He spent time with us at checkin, and then walked us around the town center to help orient us. His restaurant suggestions are great. Excellent food at reasonable prices. The only thing that could have been better would have been if we could have stayed longer.

Claudio was super helpful!

Location was amazing, right next to main square, yet hotel managed to be quiet and peaceful. Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Claudio gave us helpful travel tips and helped arrange a pizza making tour. No complaints.

Nothing that I didn't like.
