Drury Plaza Hotel St. Paul Downtown

The room was very clean. The bed was a little hard and the pillows needed to be varied. The bathroom was great. The breakfast selection was lacking a little for me. I would have liked to have seen cold oats and regular sized muffins with a choice of 2 or 3. A healthier selection would be nice.

Clean room. The only problem is that one of the treadmill was not working.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, our transportation bus broke down, causing us to arrive approximately one hour later than planned. Despite having a confirmed reservation, we were denied our room upon arrival. What made the situation even more upsetting was the complete lack of empathy and professionalism shown by the front desk staff. I arrived still wearing my wedding dress, and my husband was in his tuxedo. Rather than offering assistance, accommodations, or any effort to help resolve the situation on what should have been one of the most memorable nights of our lives, the front desk representative was dismissive, rude, and unwilling to work with us. His attitude and treatment of us as paying guests were unacceptable. To make matters worse, the hotel has refused to issue a refund despite failing to honor our reservation. The combination of poor customer service, lack of compassion, and unwillingness to take responsibility has left us extremely dissatisfied. A wedding night should be a joyful and memorable occasion. Unfortunately, because of the way we were treated, our experience with this hotel was anything but. I cannot recommend this property and would strongly encourage others to consider alternative accommodations.

I enjoy staying at Drury Inn and Suites. I’ve never had a bad experience. The happy hour from 5:30-7 is perfect, especially for those traveling long distances. The food was buffet style and really good. Each guest over 21 is allowed 3 free drinks from the bar. The rooms are spacious and clean. I won’t stay anywhere else.

We enjoyed our evening and food there. Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy breakfast because of our daughters cheer competition arrival time. One of our pillows had a blood stain on it, but the staff immediately showed up with replacements.

This is the second time we’ve stayed a the Drury Park Plaza the night before going to the Children’s Museum and it’s perfect! The rooms are clean and the free nighttime snack and breakfast are perfect when traveling with kids!
