Great location, valet parking is convenient but expensive. Very comfortable bed and quiet rooms. The staff on the front desk and breakfast restaurant. A $30 destination fee was added but unclear what it was for since the property is undergoing renovations. $25 is outrageous for a light buffet breakfast. A 20% service charge was automatically charged on top of the $25.

The door deadlock did not work and I asked maintenance to help me as soon as I checked in but they never did… paying $800+ per night should provide better service.

The staff and property management team worked well together to ensure our stay was comfortable. The only letdown was the front desk associate was not able to help us with basic information on local activities for entertainment, obviously inside information Google couldn’t provide that a local persons knows. Also, the buffet was decent but expensive for what it compared to at other hotels that is complementary. On a positive note, the view was lake side and very close to the river walk and next door to the American Social( great food and great outdoor music).
