The light in the fitness center would not go on. We told the front desk 2 times. My husband used his flashlight when he went to work out. The breakfast omelettes were burned

Property was in good condition and rooms were clean. Breakfast options were great! Even included gluten free options for us! The area around the hotel didn't offer much but it was conveniently located off the interstate. Staff recommended a great gluten free restaurant nearby! Good restaurants and shopping within close driving distance.

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. Coffee was available 24 hours/day. The indoor pool was large. It was right off the interstate, which made it super convenient for travelling to and from events going on in the area. We usually stay at Marriot or Hilton but there were no available rooms due to U of IL graduation. So glad we didn't miss this opportunity to try the Holiday Inn.

Just what you’d expect at a moderately priced hotel. Clean, friendly staff. Nothing extraordinary nothing bad. A little overpriced. And in my opinion breakfast was awful. The pancake maker (no waffle maker) didn’t work. The hardboiled egg was rubber. The bagel was hard and stale and no cream cheese. The scrambled eggs were just what you’d expect-powdered. The “omelets” were stuck together and looked like they sat there all morning. Breakfast and price
