Fairfield Inn & Suites Des Moines Urbandale

The room was huge. So much space to move around. Thank goodness for the toiletries bc we were only staying for 1 night & pack very light. The breakfast was ready before the set time, so whomever is leaving before 6am on the weekend will surely get a bite in before heading out.

Great location! This hotel is the perfect stay for a family.

The room was dirty when we arrived, floor needed vacuumed, shower was dirty with hair and scum. There were wires hanging from bottom on the ac unit inside the room. Our room was never cleaned or new linens brought in for our weekend stay. We had to go to the restroom in the hallway for more toilet paper because the room had very little on the roll and should have been replaced when the room was last cleaned. Overall not very pleased with the stay for the price we pay, and then the staff doesn’t know anything about state employee discounts and kept telling us it wasn’t offered when we called ahead before booking to make sure it was available.

Stayed with my husband & son over a weekend to Adventureland. Clean hotel and friendly staff. The pool & hot tub were great & so was breakfast! We enjoyed our stay.

Pet free so assured no allergy problems. Clean and very welcoming staff.

We have stayed here multiple times and really enjoy this hotel. It is clean with great amenities. The rooms are spacious and we enjoy the pool/hot tub. Wonderful breakfast with friendly staff. Close to lots of great places to eat and we love how you can jump right back on the interstate. We'll be back again!

Problems checking in, new software. Second night someone open our door when we were in the room front desk had assigned our room to someone else. I’m guessing another computer error as we were booked for 2 nights

Tub didn’t hold water, loud way into night, elevator door very loud and slow closing. Incredibly slow. Had to ask twice for things out at continental breakfast. Coffee being one of them

The front desk lady helped me with a charger for my phone.

It was a modern facility in a good location. They allowed me to check in an hour early. Started off by trying to charge me twice for my room. The blanket and comforter looked like they haven’t been washed in months. The climate control barely worked, froze my ass off because I wasn’t going to use a nasty blanket. So I don’t get good rest. The breakfast was nasty. Value for price was terrible.
